Prusa vs Bambu feels less like “better vs worse” and more like different priorities
Hi, so although Josef signs my paychecks, I did purchase a Bambu A1, and X1C before I replaced them with Prusa, and then subsequently applied to work for big orange a little over a year later. My biggest problem with the Bambu system, is that the right way to use a Bambu is the way that Bambu decide

Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?
This is a Prusa group so you are likely to get some biased responses. For what it's worth, I choose to go Prusa over Bambu because I like how Prusa has remained open source. Bambu has recently made moves to close in their ecosystem which was a concerning direction. One of my first 3D printers was ve

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D?
The business ethics, generally open platform, and repairability will keep me in the Prusa ecosystem unless they pull some shenanigans (boy, that would be sad). I’ve had MK3’s through the Core One. I’ve always had other printers as well, and those Prusa were the only ones that just kept chugging alon

Developer re-enables 3D printer features that Bambu Lab disabled, firm promptly threatens legal action — OrcaSlicer-BambuLab project now shuttered
Rest of the market has caught up pretty well, too. Bambu is not the only printer that's easier to use than a clapped out ender 3 anymore. My next will likely be a Elegoo. I know prusa is the darling and the core one+ looks sick. But I print a ton of CF nylon and the elegoo gets me open source + acti

New to printing, CORE One Plus, or Bambu X2D?
I have basically the line up of the Prusa printers since the Mk3s, with 7 total currently. The CoreOnes just work, maybe have to tune the belts and square it up but that's about it. I've never had an issue with support but not something I've had to use much. Coming from an IT and tinkerer background

Will there possibly be a INDX price decrease?
Buy a Snapmaker U1, be happy with it and enjoy. Buy a Prusa Core One+/IDNX/L, kit or pre-built, be happy with it and enjoy. Then have the confidence of support 24/7 should you ever need it. Even if you decide to mod it. Have a potential upgrade path (though uncertain for C1 models currently) and the

3d printer recommendations
Instead off a P2S, consider a X2D. Even if you're never using the 2nd extruder, it's upgrades are worth the price increase, active chamber heater and 1.5mm drive belts are great to have. Bambu does have a closed ecosystem, which as of yet doesn't have any severe consequences (you can still use Orca

Is Core One+ INDX a worthwhile upgrade from Bambu P1S and original AMS?
So as somebody who change from 2xX1C, each 2xAMS to different Prusa printers like CoreOne,MK4S,XL5T. Let’s talk about C1. Is it better ? NO! Do I like it more YES. Why, BBL push my owned property into direction how I’m allowed to use it to get all functions working. If I decide to go LAN mode I ende

Question: Is the Core One+ L worth the extra $1000 over the Core One+ ?
The voron community is pretty solid for support. If you get the LDO kit, the vendor usually provides support as well. I was between the Trident Cube 300x300x300 vs the Prusa L. I'm coming over from a 255x255x255 printer. I'd imagine it's rare that I'd need the 300^3 build size, however, the core one
