I can speak for the core one+ and the XL: You can empty the build plate and start a new print and go away - that’s my usual process, given the plate is clean and suiting the material. With auto retraction activated, you don’t need the nozzle to heat up before removing filament. As for the recognitio

Question: Is the Core One+ L worth the extra $1000 over the Core One+ ?

I also find their lack of core1L kits frustrating. ianal or legally fluent but I fail to understand the argument, and especially in light of how buttoned up the builds are I enjoy building prusa's even after 4 of them. The heatbed is different from all previous printers. Since the printers are shipp

Core One + things you wish you knew/did sooner

Use the instructions for both the CoreOne and CireOne+. Some amazingly helpful comments in there, but some are only in one or the other version. Use Loctite 425 on all metal-to-metal parts (It's plastic safe, and will prevent things coming loose down the road. Use sparingly. I just had a bottle cap

Is the price of the 8 head indx kit meant to cost as much as a whole new core one base kit?

I wouldn’t say that I’m not their target audience. I have owned multiple MK3’s, Prusa Minis, MK4’s and have rebuilt countless Prusa machines. In fact I currently have a core one + (upgraded from a MK4 kit that I built myself) and I am definitely interested in INDX but that price is just too high tbh

Core One + things you wish you knew/did sooner

I jumped from an Ender 3 S1 Pro with the sonic pad where I though I was printing pretty fast (after retuning every 10-15 prints lol) to the Core One+ just last month. Printed my first benchy on the stock profile and it blew me away with how well it worked fresh off the build. I did see this prusa co

Developer re-enables 3D printer features that Bambu Lab disabled, firm promptly threatens legal action — OrcaSlicer-BambuLab project now shuttered

My brother in law had an ender. The amount of fiddling and modification he's had to do a lot to get it to print well. I had the Prusa MK3S and once I ran it through calibration after putting it together, I didn't have to do anything for the next 3 years I had it other than standard maintenance (lubr

The Prusa Core One+ I got in November has required nothing from me and prints great every time. They're definitely on the level of Bambu while also being very open source.

Question: Is the Core One+ L worth the extra $1000 over the Core One+ ?

The voron community is pretty solid for support. If you get the LDO kit, the vendor usually provides support as well. I was between the Trident Cube 300x300x300 vs the Prusa L. I'm coming over from a 255x255x255 printer. I'd imagine it's rare that I'd need the 300^3 build size, however, the core one

I would not do Voron if you just want a turnkey printer. Voron is an enthusiast printer that you build and fine tune, not one that you just pull out of the box and shit out parts. If you want budget with features: Snapmaker U1. If you want a reliable "just works": Prusa Core One+. If you want to sav

You can do that with Prusa Core One+. I bought the kit and assembled it myself since it saved me $400cad, but you can get it fully assembled and factory calibrated. I have not had to do a single thing to mine since I calibrated it that first time after building it. It just works. Plus you can contro
