Exactly. There are a ton of limitations with free vpns. They throttle the speed or limit the data or fill it with ads to annoy freeloaders into paying for it. I’ve been there, tried 10-15 free vpns only to end up paying for one anyway. NordVPN is excellent, but Proton isn't bad either. They're both

You shouldn’t use some free IP Changer(VPN), they are notorious for stealing data, being unsafe and malware infested, so you should always use a reputable service like Proton VPN which does offer a free plan. Edit: Google literally warned against such services this week: Tomsguide

probably fake but knowing the UK... But just in case that might happen (or, well, moreso in light of the online safety act), you should seek out a VPN if you're British. ProtonVPN's got a good free tier.

I recommend getting a VPN on your phone. I've been using the free version of Proton VPN to circumvent restrictions since the OSA came in. I'd say to write to your MP to complain but chances are they'd just call you a nonce
