I find that quite a few cloudflare secured sites won’t let me in on my PIA VPN. I suspect that their nodes are known and blocked so I think you could struggle.

You're missing the actual issue here, which is that PIA has started rotating IPs on EVERY REQUEST - ie you don't get a "static IP" anymore on most of their servers, which is why OP was told they need a deditacted IP. I recommend using dnscrypt-proxy. If you don't live in a free country, your dns is poisoned by an ISP. In EU that is the case and using EU region pia vpn does have the same issue. Same, since yesterday PIA has almost all the servers at 260ms. Without their vpn I have 12-26ms of pin, even the firefox vpn doen't increase my latency so high. The speed it's average on PiA 330-370mb/s.

Well, FWIW, everything-- including YT ads-- seem to indicate that I'm in the US. My VPN address is 212.56.54.230, but I'm about to shut down PIA.

Came here to see if anyone else is having this problem, over 20 PIA VPN servers no longer work. About to cancel my netflix. If you're not going to let me watch the ad free stream that's available everywhere else and force me to pirate it anyway, then why am I going to pay for netflix? So dumb.

The port only changes on Proton when it reconnects so you shouldn't need to do it every day. If you need to have some traffic outside of the VPN you can use split tunneling. Be aware that even with a VPN you still might not be able to access geo blocked sites. I had PIA and wasn’t able to access most sites run by the state of Ohio.
