What’s up with the pricing?

I use PIA VPN and pay the extra for a dedicated IP and it works a treat on all my devices, including Apple TV for watching F1.

Any other expats successfully freelancing/working remotely here?

I do Tho I’m not a freelancer per se, I’m a contractor. I changed from ExpressVPN to “internet private access“ (PIA vpn) because the later have split tunneling in macOS and I can tell it to only direct thru the vpn certain apps. Besides that I work Eastern time, I sometimes do use energy drinks (mon

Share your credentials!

Exactly why i said it seemed low risk. With one VPN provider that i was using openvpn with, it was. It's a popular one, PIA, so i guess i don't know if that was the only option for it. When i purchased the subscription years ago, it seemed like it at the time, and i kinda set it and forgot it on mos

PIA VPN not connecting on openSUSE Tumbleweed — libnsl.so.1 missing (+ how to fix)

I also had a lot of problems whenever new updates were released. I ended up ditching their own client and installed plasma6-nm-openvpn, went to PIA's website and generated an OpenVPN config file. Imported it into KDE's network connections, and now I can enable/disable my VPN to PIA from within the K

Can I use Virtual Machine Manager (virt-manager) with VPNs as a way to split tunnel?

Just an alternative suggestion, as using VMs is a bit heavy, I use PIA (Private Internet Access) and their client can do split tunnels at the application level. Works well, used it for years. Supported on Debian, Arch, and Fedora based. Alternative to that... if you are using flatpak, you can push t

Siri doesn’t work with vpn

My Siri works fine with PIA as my VPN. Maybe it’s a Nord setting or something in their app? I don’t think it’s an issue with the iPhone.
