Vpn like PIA, Proton or Nord or even Mullvad usually won't work on heavily censored network like China's GFW or similar. r/dumbclub is a good place to explore options. For me, I used to use justmysocks when I was in China, and it works pretty well. They will give you a subscription url that you can

Twitch Reconnection Issues (New issue)
Did they change something over the past 2 days? I was originally on PIA, no issues, but they revoked the black friday pricing a couple years ago so I decided to move. First thing I tried was Surfshark, but it has a very well known and persistant issue with twitch where it can't stay connected to the

Unable to install my VPN
I eventually gave up on PIA client and used Proton VPN. It seems to work well. I haven’t upgraded to premium yet, but the free version seems to connect without issue. I spent countless hours trying to get PIA client to work. It’s possible, but Bazzite makes it a nightmare. There were workarounds, bu

Why is PIA so slow???
I’m new also to this service and it refuses to connect. Searched online and found out that there are cases where the WireGuard isn’t working. Work around suggested to use OpenVpn for now. So far PIA has not had any connection issues using the OpenVpn but still not connecting when I chose WireGuard.

Private Internet Access woes.
A little update on this after getting home: Not the most desirable solution but proton vpn browser ext works better than PIA. Free version is adequate for now.

WWE RAW Discussion Thread (March 31, 2026)
Came here to see if anyone else is having this problem, over 20 PIA VPN servers no longer work. About to cancel my netflix. If you're not going to let me watch the ad free stream that's available everywhere else and force me to pirate it anyway, then why am I going to pay for netflix? So dumb.

Is gluetun redundant if I have a vpn client on my router?
Yes, but I would just run Gluetun. I tried this for a while with Opnsense and forgot to check one box, my fault entirely. During testing it appeared the kill switch worked. I forget which box it was that I didn't check, but when the VPN failed it allowed it to leak momentarily and got a letter. Glue

Port changes almost daily. Is this normal?
I know I'm late to the party, but now the port doesn't change for weeks at a time, so now it just changes and you can't understand why stuff is broken until you realise the port has changed. It's the opposite problem. If it could at least give a notification when the port changes, that'd be nice. Be

Is Private Internet Access worth getting, and how does it compare to the usual commercial VPNs?
I've been using Privete Internet Access for the past year and a half, with no problems at all. However, I'm coming up for a renewal, and as soon as I switched the automatic renewal function off, the VPN basically stopped working. I say basically because now it barely works. The speeds have been thro
