Powerblock elite exps regularly appear on Woot for $250 for the 50s and can be expanded to higher weights. Don't get bowflex. Theyre crap. If you don't mind taking a bit longer to change look at eisenlink, which are budget iron masters. Bulletproof design.

I’d go with the Powerblocks. They’re indestructible and the Elite EXP’s are $400 and go up to 50lbs while being upgradable to 90lbs.

I got powerblock elite exp adjustable dumbbells and built a power tower for pull ups and dips. these were actually not that expensive and have been a worthwhile investment. something to look into if you get bored of the same videos or your knees need a break from the pounding of insanity

I personally bought and really like Powerblocks. I have the Elite EXP ones. They’re pricey, but worth every penny. The shape of them makes them even better. It’s weird at first, but you get used to it quickly, and I prefer it.

I would cut that price in half for a used pair of older model Powerblocks. The latest Exp model costs $400 new and the expansions are $200 each, so $800 for a set of brand new elite EXP Powerblocks if you don’t wait for a sale. If I listed my Elite EXP’s with both expansions, I would expect to sell
