A headset that doesn't have me sounding like a McDonald's drivethru?
My girlfriend hates this headset I bought, the Plantronics Voyager 5200. She says it's good half the time but the other half I either sound really muffled or like a McDonald's drivethru, even in areas where I have all bars and 5G+ connection. I think it may have something to do with the noise cancel

Poly headsets - mic now rubbish on iOS 18
Heya folks,
I've got an issue where I've got three different Poly headsets,
Voyager 5200, 6400 and Free 60...
All the mic's have stopped working properly - Awful pickup if anything but static.
Audio is fine to hear.
But it's the phone, not the headsets - as I pair them to my Pixel 8 - clear as

Bad Batterytime of Voyager 5200
Hi together,
I had for 5 years now the old Plantronics Voyager Pro. Two weeks ago I ordered the Poly Voyager 5200. The battery time of the 5200 is really bad compared to the old Voyager Pro. With the old one I had a talktime over 6 hours. The Poly says it has a talktime of 6 hours but the real t

Wireless headset for all day use (8+ hour battery life)?
I'm going to be having conference calls that will run basically 8 hours with an hour break in the middle and I'm concerned that I'm going to end up running out of battery on my headset. I have a Plantronics Voyager 5200, and while I like it, the battery life is very disappointing. Just got off a 3.5

Blackwire 3325, but wireless?
I just started sharing a work-from-home office with my girlfriend and need a headset with a noise-cancelling mic for when our meetings conflict.
backstory
I don't have trouble tuning her out, so I don't really need noise-cancelling headphones.
But the microphone on my current headset is w

Headset with good mic canceling abilities
Hello all,
I WFH and do not have a call center type job. However, I do have some team meetings on Google meet, that I take throughout the week. My LO is 17 months and as you can imagine very active and playful! She doesn’t cry often but she certainly gets a bit loud when happy and dancing around.

Voyager 5200 w/ deskphone base
I recently got the voyager 5200 to use alongside my focus uc1!
The base for my focus uc1 charges without issue and has been great but the 5200 I got came with a deskphone set up with a little charging cradle but it's almost like the 5200 isn't heavy enough to make proper contact with the charging p

Plantronics voyager 5200 sounds great when paired with my phone through Bluetooth, but sounds terrible when paired to PC through standard Bluetooth or through dongle.
Picked up the voyager 5200 for my work from home setup at the recommendation from users here, but having issues with sound quality when paired to my PC , it sounds terrible, but when paired to my phone (galaxy s21) it sounds great, no issues.
I tried pairing to PC through laptops Bluetooth as well

Quality degrades on a long call via BT headset - incoming caller sounds like a dalek
..thought it was my headset (a Jabra 65t) but it's happening on my new one too (Plantronics Voyager 5200).
After ~30mins the quality drops and the incoming caller sounds like a dalek, if I tolerate it it'll snap back eventually and restarting the call always fixes it.
Everything up to date etc..
