I really like my Polar Vantage V3. Good sleep tracker, perfect heart monitor (I compared to chest belt), quick to find GPS signal when starting the session, provides useful info. Highly recommended

You could ask the same thing about Garmin I guess. I have a Vantage V3. I haven't used a Garmin since 2022. I didn't like the app and I didn't like that they tried to make it into a social media app like Strava. I think Polar's sensors are better too. Actually I think the app is ok but even if it wa

Polar flow, especially web version is lightyears ahead of Garmin. I gave up few years ago and got Garmin Edge for bike (still ride with Polar Vantage V3 on hand to have all data on one place), so I know how "capable" is Garmin Connect for training analyse, and Flow is really completely different wor

So, the OHR is definitely better across all Polar devices, at least prior to Race 2 and Vertical 2. Did a run with a series of strides yesterday: Race connected to H10 on one hand, V3 on the other using its OHR. V3 matched Race beat-for-beat, and that's pretty much has been my experience over the ye

Short answer that became long: I had a V (beside other Polar watches before) and changed to V3 after extensive research incl. using the apps of Suunto and Garmin (the latter I still use for my xc100 rallye pedal). I had the same thoughts like you between the 965 and the Race. So it all comes down to

Sorry to hear you didn’t like your Polar M3. In my case the V3 is the best Polar watch I have had in over 25 years of Polar watches. I really like the AMOLED screen, and the battery life is quite acceptable. It gives me the metrics I want with no silly fluff. And I have no real issues with either ve

Happy Polar Vantage V3 user checking in. I'm guessing this is an American post? There might be more Polar users in Europe. At least I hope so, given it's the last truly European brand left after Suunto was sold.

I changed from Garmin 935 to Polar Vantage V3 and so far I'm happy with the change!

Always big announcements and big words, as if they were about to revolutionise the market. "The X you'll never forget?" Hmm… I will probably forget this X that same evening. It reminds me of the famous Polar Elixir at the launch of the Vantage V3, which announced something out of the ordinary; all w
