I am new to Polar, very disappointed. What am I missing?
Hopefully I’m unbiased but here’s my take. I agree, the Flow app is pretty terrible. There are people that defend it and say it gives them what they need (sure, I get that) but its UI/UX is unacceptable for 2026 imo. Having said that, this has been an issue for a very long time. Meaning you’re buyin

New fitness program feature after latest update
For years I was reading proud Polar users saying „at least they don't put features behind a paywall“ as advantage this brand has against some others. Now it's gone. Thankfully they didn't put anything from current features behind a paywall so I should not complain for now, but it sure leaves a bitte

Grit X 2
I don't get this watch. It's too similar to the M3. It's even in the same price bracket. I was really hoping for something sub $350. My OG Grit is getting long in the tooth. Polar is basically forcing me out as a customer. Suunto has three watches that are $350 or less right now (Race, Race S, and R

Polar vantage v4 or new line?
Polar have some really outdated product lines. The fitness series of Unite and Ignite and the Pacer series are getting extremely long in their tooths. They might be cheap to produce but keeping multiple platforms of hardware and software is not efficient. I would guess that we will see some changes t

Why did you choose Polar? Looking for arguments to stay in the ecosystem before upgrading
Started out with Polar, now moving to Coros. The in-watch HR sensor on my Pacer Pro got water leaked in. I also considered staying with the brand because it’s European etc. But it is just too expensive and honestly, doesn’t cut it. Heavy, the features are outdated and again, way overpriced. Too bad…

How is it going for suunto?
I've moved to Suunto from an older Polar Pacer Pro, my partner has a V2, had an Ignite in the past. I find Polar pretty stagnant, when it comes to the watches (incl. firmware updates) and the app. The value doesn't always compete well. Maybe the Loop will accelerate some development - or hog all dev

Should I buy a V3 or wait for the next model?
I am curious, would or did you consider a Polar Vantage M3 instead of V3? I think the the price-value ratio is little bit better on the M3. Myself use a pacer pro. When I bought it the M3 wasn't available, but I would buy now the M3 instead of Pacer pro, I think.

Goodbye Polar – My farewell review of the Polar Pacer Pro
As I've mentioned, a comparison between runs on the same route would be nice to help me understand my running performance. I can see how my criticism was not very accurate – apologies. I am being honest in saying that I found the Pacer Pro to have shortcomings that I found annoying – and the H10 wor

Thoughts on Polar marathon program
This is Polar's Achilles' heel: the software and user experience. Polar is light-years behind the competition. It's a shame, but models like the Coros Pacer Pro offer much better value for the money, at half the price. In fact, many Garmin users are even switching to it. Polar needs a revolution in
