Polar support is a complete disappointment.

After the last firmware update my 1 and half year old Pacer Pro started to lose charge alarmingly fast: 25% per day without any workout and notifications off. I put it in airplane mode for one day an surprise, it was back to less than 10% per day so the culprit was PolarFlow or my phone (Pixel 8a).

Decide often dead when over 50% charge

My Pacer Pro has the same behavior. When under 50% it lose it's charge almost over night. I can't go out for a one hour run anymore if the watch is at 23% for example. 1 year and a few month old. I suspect the culprit is the mobile app. My android phone (Pixel 8a) warned me a few times that Polar Fl

Weekly new watch thread

I’ve been keeping an eye on prices to dip below £700 on the Fenix 8 solar. My Polar Pacer Pro is starting to have noticeable battery drain and think I’m generally ready to move on from Polar generally. Saw this deal for £680 and immediately pulled the trigger. https://www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/0145465/

Polar watch shutting down and not syncing

Mine did this the other day, I'd just completed a 3 mile run, went to save it and the screen went black with the Polar logo. I left it alone for a bit and when I came back to it, it was working normally and had somehow saved the workout. I find the app can be quite buggy with auto syncing. I either

Good omen?

Hhmmm bit disappointed. My 2 big issues: Not using Elixer sensor. Old Precision Prime from devices like Pacer Pro From the looks, can't use Polar H10 for more accurate height rate. Its basically the Polar 360 B2B device with a slightly larger battery & less plastic. That feels a bit conservative to

Polar Verity Sense questions

You are not alone, very annoying. Mine is from early 2023 and has the same problem. You have to always keep an eye on battery level or you might find that it won't turn on.I must say I am a bit dissapointed at Polar for this kind of things, you pay premium for a well know brand and get average resul

Want to get a watch for trail running. Is MIP screen best in all circumstances?

There are watches with AMOLED and fantastic dual-freq GPS battery life of 60+ hours (Suunto Vertical 2, Fenix 8 51 mm), and there are watches with MIP and mediocre battery life compared to the competition (Forerunner 955, Instinct E, Polar Pacer Pro).

Pacer Pro got new Firmware 3.0.7

Hi All, Has anyone experienced that the battery life seems to have decreased since the new firmware? A few months ago it was draining 12-15% in 1 day, now it's more like 20-25%. My Polar Pro Pacer is now 1.5 years old.
