Why did you choose Polar? Looking for arguments to stay in the ecosystem before upgrading

Main reasons why I chose Polar: • Accuracy: H10 is the “gold standard” HR wearable • Science-base: I love that they have published white papers for all their features • Privacy: including data storage in EU • Running training support: H10 + Pacer Pro + Flow give me basically everything I need to

Move to Polar?

I came from garmin to polar. The biggest thing that often doesn't get mentioned enough is that Polar makes sport watches. Their metrics are amazing and I have found them to be very accurate. What Polar doesn't do well are the smart watch features. In my experience, the phone integration is more anno

In the age of AI and trade wars

Switching from Apple to a Polar is a reeeeaaaly big stretch imho. Polar is a fitness watch, Apple watch is a smart watch. They fit in very different segments and expectations. Polar is not without it's flaws. I just bought a Polar Pacer Pro a few weeks ago and agree there is room for improvement. Bu

Hardloophorloge

Ja zelf al een tijd heel erg tevreden met een polar m430 en nu een polar pacer pro, partner is met de vantage M3 ook heel blij. Vind het wel een fijn idee dat het een Europees bedrijf is en je data ook binnen Europa blijft.

I am new to Polar, very disappointed. What am I missing?

I had a forunner garmin 225 that I used from 2015 to 2024. This watch still works but I wanted to try something new. I have a pacer pro since 2024. I am happy with it. I am happy with polar flow app, and polar flow web is where the data are to be found if you want to go deeper in the analysis. There

Polar h10

I've had mine for something like, I don't know, 10 years? I've had Polar watches and straps from the year 2001 and the H10 is simply a solid workhorse with easy battery replacement and long battery life. Reliable data, simple use. Zero issues. I use it with my Pacer Pro (previously Vantage M, M430 a

Polar Pacer Pro for a C25k running a marathon

The Polar Pacer Pro does everything you want and does it very wellthe only thing it lacks is a direct connection with Runalyze. IMHO, there's no real need for it, because Polar's own platform, Polar Flow, surpasses both by a wide margin.

Goodbye Polar – My farewell review of the Polar Pacer Pro

No running watch is perfect, and it matters what is most important to you and what conditions you use it in. I used to have the M430 for ages and more recently got the Pacer Pro, which has in the meanwhile aged a bit but I am quite happy with it for what I am doing (running mostly). I cannot comment

If you looked at Garmin, or Apple/Samsung, what made you stay?

Long-time Apple Watch user here; got an H10 ~1 year ago and a Pacer Pro recently. (Apple Watch is great, but also quite expensive.) Main reasons why I chose Polar: Accuracy: H10 is the “gold standard” HR wearable Science-base: I love that they have published white papers for all their features Priva

Polar Vantage M3 vs Garmin Venu 4

I have the M3, recently upgraded from a Pacer Pro. I mostly use it for running and swimming. re bouldering: I'm not wearing the M3 when bouldering (I go once per week) to not accidentally scratch it on a hold. I managed to scratch the Pacer Pro within 10 minutes of bouldering. Very annoying feeling
