Air Hype
Depends on time because google have pre orders and only releasing on 26 and at same time all reviews come out with comparison cause they are all embargoed till then on review words and comparisons according with DC Rainmaker So if Garmin announce during that week people might hold but if not or if t

From pre-order to massive disappointment: firmware updates ruined connectivity
Well, the main matter is that even when it works the way it should it does not offer anything more or better than the competition but usually less and worse. When it comes to Amazfit Helio strap, Google Fitbit Air, Garmin Cirqua or Whoop, you can think of something that would give any of these devic

Help finding new watch
Since you're talking about dollars, I assume you're in the US. Polar's US pricing model is insane (unless you are buying a Loop, which is prices "normal" relative to Canadian pricing). So basically buying direct from Polar (or Amazon who will sell at MSRP) is off the table. Because you'll get way mo

Polar - the future or perhaps just the past?
I used to think Polar was a premium brand on the same level as Garmin. That changed after I tried the Polar Loop. At this point, the only things really keeping Polar relevant are the huge amount of historical data they’ve collected and the H10 chest strap, which is still seen as the gold standard. T

Thinking of getting the loop
The Loop looks nice on the wrist. However, TBH I don't see any real value in wearing the it outside of workouts and sleep. It can't track naps, and during the rest of the day it basically only measures heart rate, which is useless most of the time. As you already own a Polar watch, I think the Loop'

From pre-order to massive disappointment: firmware updates ruined connectivity
I'm a former (still slightly) Polar fanatic here... and haven't seen a single device they've made since the v800 having any competitive qualities or advantages other than "being in Polar" ecosystem. The only exception being the current Grit X2, but it's SEVERELY overpriced from a competition standpo

Is it worth upgrading from an inspire 3 to the Air?
Id wait atleast 2 weeks after hitting store's. Let others be the test dummies. Everyone thought the polar loop was going to be great until people actually got their hands on it and it turned out to be disappointing.

Choosing between Amazfit Helio Strap VS Fitbit Air for accurate tracking and life optimisation
Couldn’t have said it better, traded my polarLoop for a mechanical watch that’s how much I disliked it 😂

Polar loop thoughts
I've been using Helio Strap for ~6 months as well as Polar Loop for a few weeks. Nah, not comparable. Given the price vs. what Loop gives - it should cost 60 EUR max, compared to what Helio provides. Biggest challenges with the Loop:- No vibration, no alarms- No HR broadcast- No seamless multi devic

What is the value of the new Life Load over Sleep Journal?
Yeah I was a whoop member for like 8 months and I canceled the subscription beacuse after loke 6 months I already learnt those habits and insights, so all I needed to do is tracking, and that much money for a tracking device was just stupid. I also considered Polar Loop, but I'm a swimmer and I want
