No idea if I'm representative but this is my story... in 2020 COVID lockdowns led to me taking up cycling I live in a hilly place, there is lots of data to track I wanted a watch that was not massive, reasonably priced, and would track rides without needing a bike computer it came down to Polar and

I wouldn't consider that bragging about Garmin support or products. I'd consider that bragging about a user who consistently pushed support for several days and finally got them to agree to replace it. Good on the user, not so good on the vendor support. This is easy to pick and choose faults to bas

Polar have some really outdated product lines. The fitness series of Unite and Ignite and the Pacer series are getting extremely long in their tooths. They might be cheap to produce but keeping multiple platforms of hardware and software is not efficient. I would guess that we will see some changes t

Exactly! We got our watches for tracking fitness only. We don't use the "smart" features that let you control music, make phone calls, etc.. A basic fitness watch would work for many people. We used the Unite for a few years and liked it. As they started to slow down and not charge so great I looked

I'm a woman with small wrists, and I really like the Polar Ignite 3. It is small, thin front-to-back, and lightweight. I don't need something as dainty as the Garmin Lily 2 - I just need something that doesn't feel big and heavy and clunky. I didn't have a great fit with the Polar Pacer Pro because

My first Polar was FT4 (2013) and then I've had M400, M430, A360, Vantage M, Pacer, Pacer Pro and now Ignite 3. I jumped to Garmin for a month few years ago (FR245) and then back to Polar. I guess I'm staying with Polar, I didn't like Garmin app and everything was soooo complicated. 😅

I complained about this exact same issue to Polar (I was able to pinpoint the problem to cable due to wife having Ignite 3) and they sent me new one for free.

Heb een Polar Ignite gehad, prima horloge. Helaas kapot gegaan en een 2e hands Apple Watch gekocht, welke ook prima is. Ik gebruik daar de standaard fitness app maar je kan natuurlijk vanalles erop installeren.

Gosh, I thought I was the only one with a Polar addiction problem 🤭 I also feel loyal to the brand, but hear you. I got an Ignite 3 recently (to help me through a marathon without worrying about battery issues (unlike my Apple Watch), but slightly does not deliver what I thought it would, and feel a

The article mentions Pacer X as well, found in the Flow app but no mention of a release date. Due to not liking the style of most smartwatches, Ignite 3 Titanium is the only watch in the Polar line up that I would consider wearing, so I had been waiting for an Ignite 4 Titanium before committing to
