I wouldn't consider that bragging about Garmin support or products. I'd consider that bragging about a user who consistently pushed support for several days and finally got them to agree to replace it. Good on the user, not so good on the vendor support. This is easy to pick and choose faults to bas

Polar have some really outdated product lines. The fitness series of Unite and Ignite and the Pacer series are getting extremely long in their tooths. They might be cheap to produce but keeping multiple platforms of hardware and software is not efficient. I would guess that we will see some changes t

Heb een Polar Ignite gehad, prima horloge. Helaas kapot gegaan en een 2e hands Apple Watch gekocht, welke ook prima is. Ik gebruik daar de standaard fitness app maar je kan natuurlijk vanalles erop installeren.

The Ignite 3 is quite old at this point, over three years. I'd look into a third party seller that might be selling it discounted or wait for an Ignite 4. I'd probably get the Vantage M3. Its a bit of a mid-sized watch, fairly affordable, and has all of Polar's latest features.

I am currently using a Polar Pacer Pro. I had the same issue with an Ignite 3 previously. The Garmin I used as comparison was a Venu SQ Music. I would love for sleep tracking to work reliably on Polar, because overall I prefer their app and watches (yes, unlike many others, I find Polar Flow to be f

I bought mine via ebay from protectionfilms24, "Protector Full-Cover for Polar Ignite 3 Curved Screen Edge Protection Film". It has notches but they don't bother me. And I swim with my watch, the screen shield is still on it's place. ☺️

I would go for the Grit X2 (latest, just a bit more expensive than the M3). Polar watches have the same OS, so the only difference will be design, materials (for sturdiness go for the Grit X2), weight and battery life. For premium feel and long battery life go for the V3 or Grit X Pro. Pacer is old,

You're giving me so much confirming information! I actually only do cardio and weights atm. I've been wanting to pick up climbing for a while, so I'm glad to hear it's great for that too. And also want the titanium one, but I'm allergic to nickel and read that some people got a rash from it. My fitb

The only Polar watches in that price range are the Ignite 3, Pacer Pro and Pacer, and the Unite, and that is during their current sale. Given what you say you would use it for, the Ignite 3 is probably your best bet. It’s a current watch, unlike the others that are pretty dated. You can have a look

That depends on how comfortable you are with the brand and if you can get a better support in person. My wife's ignite 3 happened to have a failure in the HRM after OS4 update, I went to the Polar store in my county, they confirmed it was under warranty and we are just waiting for the new watch to c
