Polar Ignite is still perfectly fine as a software machine, but there are 2 buts... 1) Buying such an old used device you risk battery life to be 1-2 days pretty soon and it's not replaceable; 2) If you're serious about tracking your fitness, some external device like a Verity Sense or H9, H10 chest

Polar should definitely consider whether their method of transferring data to Polar Flow should be completely changed. The problem occurs from time to time and it seems that only FlowSync can fix it, but Polar intends to discontinue FlowSync. What then? Every now and then I have to resort to FlowSyn

As the Polar Loop uses the Flow app, it is way behind Whoop in presentation, analysis, etc. That’s why all these people use Whoop as the standard. Sadly the Loop is barely in the game. Hopefully Polar itself remains in the game but already it’s well behind in its goals of updating Flow. Additionally

I feel Polar has the better algorithms and since I've been using Polar watches and chest straps for many years, I'm kinda ingrained in Polar's ecosystem. However, each of these Polar products started having issues within 2-3 years, charging and connection problems mostly. I even had to replace eithe

This is my third watch/model from Amazfit, and my wife currently has the Active 2, which is her second watch/

Seriously though, what would you say to convince me to stick with Polar? I've got an original Ignite that requires daily charging. Strongly considering Garmin or Amazfit because I'm hearing compliments about the Polar app and lack of updates, etc. Convince me to stay... Edit: I cycle, mostly on an i

Polar Ignite 2 here. Same issue. Seems to be a problem with the android app. Some days the web version shows activity, some days it does not. Hope they will fix the issue soon, this is frustrating..

Sorry but I have no trust to Polar even on basic HR when getting higher HR without training. I was in hospital, real HR ~160 and my ignite3 said 80. 😂 And these kind of situations has happened many times, ignite never reaches the real HR.

"Your reaction "LOL First of all, if you get up to 90% of your max heart rate in less than 30 seconds you sound quite unfit to me." says just one thing - you ran out of the arguments and now make it personal insults." Plenty of arguments followed. This was just a way to entertain myself a bit which,
