Polar Ignite is still perfectly fine as a software machine, but there are 2 buts... 1) Buying such an old used device you risk battery life to be 1-2 days pretty soon and it's not replaceable; 2) If you're serious about tracking your fitness, some external device like a Verity Sense or H9, H10 chest

Polar should definitely consider whether their method of transferring data to Polar Flow should be completely changed. The problem occurs from time to time and it seems that only FlowSync can fix it, but Polar intends to discontinue FlowSync. What then? Every now and then I have to resort to FlowSyn

As the Polar Loop uses the Flow app, it is way behind Whoop in presentation, analysis, etc. That’s why all these people use Whoop as the standard. Sadly the Loop is barely in the game. Hopefully Polar itself remains in the game but already it’s well behind in its goals of updating Flow. Additionally

All kind of rumors last year new look was coming out for Android before end of 2025 with an update for iOS following in 2026. Polar never really said anything that I saw. Polar flow app for both Android and iOS remains outdated. My Ignite 3 remains desk bound as a result. Rocking Garmin again.

All that reflects is people seem willing to pay those prices. As we all know, Garmin is really on a roll. Polar is anemic to the extent it doesn’t seem to get out regular software updates, new products. The Loop is a rehash of an earlier business offering with key software issues. So sorry but Polar

My Ignite 3 had the same problem. I tried everything: restarted it, factory reset, recalibrated the battery, and nothing, it seems to have only gotten worse. Finally, I contacted Polar and sent it to technical support. I just received a quote of R$ 1,620 (US$ 300) for the repair: "MODULE PRESENTS LO

Glad you’re pleased with Flow. For me it is despicable! Why my Polar Ignite 3 remains in a drawer. A waste! Would never recommend nor buy Polar again unless the app is brought in from the Dark Ages.

No solution, but I have the same issue on my ignite 3. When I start the training it says "session started" twice, the first km it also says twice and then no voice guidance for the other kms. I had the problem before (might have been with the Pacer, though?) where it would repeat four (?) times. Get

I've moved to Suunto from an older Polar Pacer Pro, my partner has a V2, had an Ignite in the past. I find Polar pretty stagnant, when it comes to the watches (incl. firmware updates) and the app. The value doesn't always compete well. Maybe the Loop will accelerate some development - or hog all dev

I'm not a Coros owner, but I did use Polar products for 6 years since the launch of the Vantage V1. I can confirm that Polar is slow to innovate (they truly aren't in the past 5 years) and their app is so, so incredibly dated. The feature-set they offer is often poor value as the competition will of
