I have ignite 3 and I love it! If I was rich, I would maybe get Vantage M3. Polar is nice and simple. I have tested (a bit) Garmin and Polar with wrist HR, they are pretty similar. Polar maybe doesn't take the highest point HR on intervals, but average HR was same as Garmin.

Get a polar H10, you need the best heart rate measurement to have any kind of predictive insights on recovery. Then any cheap watch from polar can get you good insights on polar flow, I'm not sure if the h10 alone is enough for that or not... A polar ignite 3 is enough for your use case and also has
