For those who used Polar and now have Coros
I'm not a Coros owner, but I did use Polar products for 6 years since the launch of the Vantage V1. I can confirm that Polar is slow to innovate (they truly aren't in the past 5 years) and their app is so, so incredibly dated. The feature-set they offer is often poor value as the competition will of

Strava: If you get rid of Garmin, I will get rid of you
Polar Ignite 3 is up over 40% from the previous model and over 70% from the original launched in 2019. I paid 419€ for my Instinct 3 Solar at launch. 2 Solar launched at 449€. That's a price decrease! Vivoactive 6 is 346€. Vivoactive 3 launched in 2017 for 329ish€? So it's not at all as black and wh

Strava: If you get rid of Garmin, I will get rid of you
Polar Ignite 3 was launched at $330, and Ignite 2 at $280. I have no idea how you can make that a 40% difference. In my math book that would be calculated (330-280)/280=18%. I agree that some models in specific price ranges have either been kept or even decreased. I guess that is due to competition

Polar Vantage M3 vs Suunto Run/Race S
To be clear, I don't dislike Polar and I think much of my criticism comes from wanting them to do well as I really enjoyed their products when they introduced the VV1 on up to the Pacer series. I simply feel their product line has suffered since they released the Ignite 3, lacking any real value in

I know absolutely nothing about your american pricings. Here at Polar's home country, Ignite 2 and 3 launched at 229€ and 345€

Polar Black Weeks Sale Has Started
US price during this sale is $300 307 / 220 = 36% If the price difference on the X2 and the Ignite 3 are because Polar is evenhandedly applying tariffs on US customers, why is the difference on the ignite 3 during the sale 35% and the difference between the X2 during the sale 80%? X2 pricing is insa

Polar Black Weeks Sale Has Started
For example, the V3 in Canada has been (and still is) $900, whereas in the U.S. it was $600. ... Not sure if it's just that they have some fuckery on their website, but this is not the MSRP in the US when I look here. It's $700 (699.99), not 600. Thanks for looking that up. about the life time of the battery...
Same for me. The battery of my Ignite 3 Titanium basically died after 3 years and it can't be replaced. I have to charge the watch every day now and it drops from 100% to 56% within minutes. I have used Polar products for over 10 years but this watch is my last Polar product. A watch in this price r

I threw my Polar Ignite in the bin, and feel liberated - thank you Polar Support
Same for me with my Ignite3. Charging, then suddenly drops 30% - soon turns off due to running out of battery. Put in the charger again and suddenly watch shows 25% battery. So much money and such cheap design. My 20$ Casio watch in 1980 let me change the battery. Polar never again. Had lately a Pac

Blows my mind that here in the USA Polar thinks the Ignite 3 is worth $300 USD. I bought a Suunto Peak 9 Pro for $200 USD. Sure, it doesn't have an AMOLED screen (neither here nor there for me) but it can literally track every sport imaginable and has a sapphire screen + it is receiving updates even
