Ignite 3

As a casual user, I like polar. Software is simple in my eyes, hardware is good and has no monthly subscriptions, which is a big plus. Polar also replaced my ignite 3 after the battery failed under warranty without a fuss. European brand, Finnish to be exact. All in all I think Polar is doing good b

I wouldn't consider that bragging about Garmin support or products. I'd consider that bragging about a user who consistently pushed support for several days and finally got them to agree to replace it. Good on the user, not so good on the vendor support. It depends on the price. The Grit X2 Pro is from the same software line as the Vantage V3, which was released in October 2023. In its history, Polar has focused on minor improvements in its products for a year and a half after their release, with no new features (the exception here is the Ignite 3).

You seem ok with the app. If so then Polar is a good choice. I’ve got the Ignite 3 and it’s a truly nice device.
