Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar (47 mm) or Polar Grit X2?

I had the Fenix 7 Pro and sold it for the Polar Grit X2 Pro. Reason: simplicity. Polar gives me exactly what I need without unnecessary features. The HRV/Orthostatic test with the H10 is accurate and useful for training decisions. With Garmin I always felt overwhelmed by functions I didn’t use. Also

I’m looking for a watch with a MIP display.

I recommend Polar Grit X Pro if you liked the Grit X and the Polar ecosystem. It is still available if you look around. I had the original Grit X and had the pressure sensor replaced 3 times within warranty including change of back cover that was supposed to solve the problem with height measurement

Early Christmas Gift!

Excellent choice. I have the Polar Grit X2 Pro. Excellent brand. Very good quality. This is the brand with the best data accuracy 📈 heart and sleep. I use the Polar H10 only in cycling and VMA or vameval test mode (in France 🇫🇷). I wish you lots of fun in your outings 😃

Grit X2 Pro vs Suunto...

I think a useful feature for me would be Climbpro - and I see Suunto has Climb Guidance. Does that effectively mean the following tradeoffs - or is there anything I'm missing? Thanks - Suunto Vertical 2 titanium - best battery (by some distance), Climb Guidance, ok app/mapping, potential data privac

Fitbit, Whoop, Helio Strap, Polar Loop

I watched his video last night. The value that the Helio Strap brings is incredible, as is the heart rate tracking. It really is so, SO good especially when worn on the bicep. I ran into the same issue he did with the step counting inaccuracy though. I have done multiple 10,000 step days as well as

How "bad" is the HR Sensor on the Race S really?

Edit: I just own the watch two days. Today I went for a run and it felt way off. My good old Polar Grit X, which is old, but has a good heartrate sensor, showed me 20+ more than the Suunto. On a 10KM run the Suunto said I burned 498 Kcal, while my Polar says 972 Kcal. 498 can't be right.

Which sport tech ecosystem should I start with?

I own a polar grit x watch and chest strap hr monitor. The watch is good for swimming, hiking, cycling, running and weightlifting tracking. I have a hammerhead karoo 1 bike computer and moofit rpm and speed sensors. No issues with the watch and hr strap or pairing them to my bike computer. The rpm a
