Wow. I havent seen so much gnashing of teeth over something so small since watching the Millenium Falcon barely escaped the mouth of the space slug in Empire Strikes Back. :) I started with Polar in the 80's as a national team athlete, and have been with them more on than off since then. Much like S

I had the Fenix 7 Pro and sold it for the Polar Grit X2 Pro. Reason: simplicity. Polar gives me exactly what I need without unnecessary features. The HRV/Orthostatic test with the H10 is accurate and useful for training decisions. With Garmin I always felt overwhelmed by functions I didn’t use. Also

Grit X2 is a better watch, unless you didn't need all the things it has, then you could have saved a bit.. and also design, if you prefer one over the other. Use this to compare both, I also added the best from last gen so you can compare as well. The street X is somewhere in between last gen higher

If this is true, this is quite important factor for me (have V2 with bad battery and 200 EUR for change) - User replaceable battery Polar’s decision to let users swap out the battery themselves tackles one of the biggest frustrations in the category. This prolongs the life of the device and offers s

I am the opposite case. I had few Garmin’s over 2 years and used the H10 with Polar Beat. I made a switch and got a Polar Grit X2 and i am very happy with the decision. I prefer the simplicity of the Polar ecosystem rather than the every metric under the sun with Garmin.

Just switched from Suunto A3P to Polar Grit X2 Pro, also considered M3 but wanted the bigger screen as M3 seemed too small for me. And since Suunto sold their MoveSense business they no longer make HR chest straps, so would seem odd to buy Polar strap but Suunto watch for running. Also like idea of

Two weeks ago, I bought Polar Grit X2 Copper. I upgraded from V800, which I bought used in January. In the last year, I bought H10 (HRM) and Stride Sensor. I considered different brands: Polar, Garmin, Coros, Amazfit, and Suunto. I researched information about their watches, read their subs, and tri

Instinct 2 or 3 would be a good way to go Some people have literally run Jeeps over Instincts or thrown them off buildings Have owned Instinct and Instinct 2, they are tanks. Great for martial arts and bouldering, better then the Grit X2 maybe Grit X has some different metrics, kike temperature, and

I think Polar has a good range for all different tastes. I find them better value then Garmin, especially now that lot of retailers and even Polar themselves have a Black Friday discounts. I particulary like the outdoor range although the Grit X2 Pro is a really big watch so might go with Grit X 2.

A few days ago, I bought Polar Grit X2 Copper during a vacation in Italy for a great price (427 EUR) and also bought Vantage V3 Blue for my friend (382 EUR). My friend, before that, considered buying a Garmin Instinct or Forerunner, but who wants to pay 500 EUR more for just a few small advantages,
