In my opinion, you made the right call. Other companies tempt people with lots of unnecessary options. I think Coros is one of the few that isn’t going in the wrong direction, but it’s a brand aimed more at runners. It’s cool, but I miss some of the Polar features. A few years ago, I owned the Polar

Wow. I havent seen so much gnashing of teeth over something so small since watching the Millenium Falcon barely escaped the mouth of the space slug in Empire Strikes Back. :) I started with Polar in the 80's as a national team athlete, and have been with them more on than off since then. Much like S

I had the Fenix 7 Pro and sold it for the Polar Grit X2 Pro. Reason: simplicity. Polar gives me exactly what I need without unnecessary features. The HRV/Orthostatic test with the H10 is accurate and useful for training decisions. With Garmin I always felt overwhelmed by functions I didn’t use. Also

Switched from Fenix 8 to Polar Grit X2 Pro. Never looked back. I love the straight forward simplicity. Notifications are better on Garmin, but I switched it all off and found piece in life again. The only thing I miss, maybe two times a month, is the flashlight.

Since you are coming from Whoop, I would wait until the new screen less Polar launches in September since it’s suspected to be a consumer version of the Polar 360. This would be closest to your Whoop experience. A Verity Sense is an HRM like the H10 and won’t track daily activity or all day heart ra

Grit X2 is a better watch, unless you didn't need all the things it has, then you could have saved a bit.. and also design, if you prefer one over the other. Use this to compare both, I also added the best from last gen so you can compare as well. The street X is somewhere in between last gen higher

I have expirience with garmin fenix 6, with apple ultra 2. And now I’m tested fenix 7 pro and 8, polar grit x2 and apple ultra 3. I would say Apple is god tier (espesially if you have apple ecosystem). All works good, all on top level. But not fit me good in a matter that I do a lot of hiking and ba

He's a Garmin fanboy, so yeah, the watch that people call a "garmin fenix killer" will probably not have a fair review. Ray’s been pretty critical of Garmin lately, but let’s be real — calling this (or the Coros Vertix 2S, or the Polar Grit X2) a “Fenix killer” is pure clickbait. It’s the same as ev

If this is true, this is quite important factor for me (have V2 with bad battery and 200 EUR for change) - User replaceable battery Polar’s decision to let users swap out the battery themselves tackles one of the biggest frustrations in the category. This prolongs the life of the device and offers s

I would have liked to buy a Polar grit x2 or a vantage M3, but I don't like the slightly too holistic approach whereby Polar overlaps step counting with other activities. I want a device that differentiates the tracking of individual activities. It's a shame because I really appreciate Polar's minim
