Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar (47 mm) or Polar Grit X2?

I had the Fenix 7 Pro and sold it for the Polar Grit X2 Pro. Reason: simplicity. Polar gives me exactly what I need without unnecessary features. The HRV/Orthostatic test with the H10 is accurate and useful for training decisions. With Garmin I always felt overwhelmed by functions I didn’t use. Also

Thinking of moving from Garmin to Polar

Switched from Fenix 8 to Polar Grit X2 Pro. Never looked back. I love the straight forward simplicity. Notifications are better on Garmin, but I switched it all off and found piece in life again. The only thing I miss, maybe two times a month, is the flashlight.

Grit X2 or Fenix 8?

I am the opposite case. I had few Garmin’s over 2 years and used the H10 with Polar Beat. I made a switch and got a Polar Grit X2 and i am very happy with the decision. I prefer the simplicity of the Polar ecosystem rather than the every metric under the sun with Garmin.

My Suunto Ambit 3 has reachd EOL. And now?

Just switched from Suunto A3P to Polar Grit X2 Pro, also considered M3 but wanted the bigger screen as M3 seemed too small for me. And since Suunto sold their MoveSense business they no longer make HR chest straps, so would seem odd to buy Polar strap but Suunto watch for running. Also like idea of

Help me choose my first Sportwatch

Two weeks ago, I bought Polar Grit X2 Copper. I upgraded from V800, which I bought used in January. In the last year, I bought H10 (HRM) and Stride Sensor. I considered different brands: Polar, Garmin, Coros, Amazfit, and Suunto. I researched information about their watches, read their subs, and tri

Best Polar Watch for my needs?

I have grit x2 pro and love it so much. I test for 2 weeks garmin fenix 7 pro, 8 pro, polar grit x2 and x2 pro for me totally winner! Garmin is cool, if you really pro athletic guy and live in the gym. All metrics and pre calibration feel like that. Also design, I found little bit not fit me at all.

Polar vs Suunto

I have had the Polar Grit X2 Pro since May 2024. No problem 😉. Only happiness. Polar Flow gets straight to the point. Looking forward to the new version of Polar Flow.

Official Q&A for Thursday, January 15, 2026

Hello good people. I hope you can help me choose a watch for amateur training. My choice comes down to three watches. It’s not an easy task, because I already own two of them, but I still haven’t decided which ecosystem to commit to. Right now, at home I have two options: Coros Nomad Polar Grit X An

Why did you buy your smart watch ?

I first started out with a couple of Garmin Instincts to track my activities and monitor progress. I even followed one of their running programs, which really helped me get into running. Recently, I switched to the Polar Grit X2—Garmin tends to pull you into endless metrics, whereas Polar keeps thin
