Better is subjective. Really the main benefit of kobo over pb is overdrive integration. If you read library books it makes it much easier. By far the most sideload friendly, can read the most formats, and some models, like my Verse Pro Color (6”) and Inkpad 4 (7.8”) have great Libby (public library) integration.
