It's been an expensive 6 months since leaving Kindle
Growing up in school I hated reading. None of the required reading books ever did anything for me, so I rarely actually read them. But that all changed in 2011 when I got a Kindle Keyboard and found out I could read books that I actually liked. It's been wondering and I've been singing the praises o

Need help for my first ereader
The Inkpad will only be slower if you’re navigating menus, which I rarely do. I just read. And in-book, using the page turn buttons, I don’t really notice any lag. The positive is that it’s 7.8” as opposed to the others at 7”. Kindle doesn’t treat books sent or sideloaded the same as it does books f

Stuck between 2 devices
I say go with the InkPad Color 3. Even though it's the pricier model, I think it's worth it for the screen size and the specs.

Vision problems and e-readers
I've found Pocketbook e-readers easy on the eyes. I have InkPad color 3, verse pro color and wife has the era color. If you want any information on them. Little more expensive. Little bit more premium feel. Slightly slower hardware but for book reading you don't really notice. That comes in more if

Best ereader that’s not a Kindle or a Boox
I"be been using PocketBook InkPad Color 3 for a few months. It's a great device with seamless KOReader and Calibre integration. It works pretty fast and stable.

PocketBook Era Lite | Carta 1300
The device looks good. The only drawback I see is the old platform (Allwinner B288). The "newer" B300 would look better in this regard. In general, I've been using PocketBook InkPad 3 Color for almost two years and pretty happy with this device. It's pretty stable, supports KOReader out of the box,

Hey, does someone now what causes Problems like this on the Pooketbook inkpad color 3?
I had this error just one or two times yet on my inkpad color 3. I think what helped was going into the settings where you can change contrast, gamma, etc. Try If it helps to change something, you should be able to change it right back. This ist also my solution for a more common problem i face, whe

Question for Possible Pocketbook owner
I’ve tried a few, and the InkPad Color 3 is definitely the way to go if you want to avoid that typical e-reader lag. It’s got a much faster processor than the older models, so navigating the library actually feels smooth. Plus, the warm light is perfect for reading at night.

Moving from 623 to Inkpad Color or Verse color?
i made a similar jump from an older device to a modern ereader and the difference was bigger than i expected. the speed and battery life get a huge upgrade. for your use case with graphic novels and rss, the inkpad color has a larger screen that works better for comics while the verse pro is more co

Pocketbook to Kobo, anyone?
The old InkPad 3 (not Color) and Era use the old dual-core hardware platform based on B288 chip. It's similar to Kobo Libra Color. It's okay for BW readers, but insufficient for the color ones. PocketBook InkPad Color 3 is built on the much more powerful quad-core B300 platform.
