Which PocketBook model is best for children?

For reading for my daughter (she can't read by herself yet) I use InkPad Color 3, it's good because it's something like 8 inches and color. So you can read children books in different fixed formats with images, like pdfs, and everything will be readable. For children who already read by themselves,

So I just ordered the PB Era color, can you please tell me one thing I should know to start with based on your experience ? It's my first ereader ever !

congrats! You made a great choice! you can customise the buttons on the home screen! Just long press on them, or long press on the library icon to add a new button. If you don't want to use the PB store, you can remove it from your device and replace it with something else, like Klondike. If you hav

is PocketBook UI better than the one Kobo has?

if you get a Kobo, expect to convert all of your books that you want on it to kepub format, otherwise you'll be missing on a bunch of basic Kobo features. Library wise, PocketBook has much better customisation and browsing options than Kobo does. And I personally love the customisation that PocketBo

What e-reader should I get

What format is the sheet music in? Pocketbook devices are compatible with more file formats than most other ereaders. The Inkpad 3 Color might be just the ticket. It’s 7.8”. Do you think that size will work for what you need?

What e-reader should I get

If you need a keyboard you should probably just get a tablet. It will eventually be hell on your eyes if you read very much, but it’s the most flexible. PDFs work great with the pocketbook devices. I don’t have the Inkpad 3 Color so I can’t comment directly on the color aspects, I have the Inkpad 4.

e-reader for unusual formats

For 'dubious sources' you definitely do NOT want any kind of Kindle! (not to mention all the other issues with Kindle/Amazon of course) Take a look at Pocketbook; they will work well with pretty much any kind of format, don't care where you got it from, and the larger sizes (Inkpad 4, Inkpad Color 3

Pocketbook doesn't need KOReader

I strongly agree. I tried Koreader in my Pocketbook Inkpad Color 3 and I uninstalled it almost instantly. I prefer the simplicity of the vanilla software and it works good enough for me in most books.

Is it worth upgrading from clara bw to libra colour for comics?

There's a point in the setup process where you can connect the device to a PC, add a line to an internal file, reboot it and get straight thrown into the so called sideload mode (but in this mode you won't have a homepage anymore, just your library - everything not store related will still work, but

Help me, im new and need to decide between pocketbook and kobo

You should also seriously look at the 8'' PocketBook InkPad Color 3. I know your decision is likely because of the design of the Era, but every inch more is better for reading manga/comics. Manual zooming is in no way e.g. comparable to a phone or tablet (even when you can use similar gestures on Po

Non Amazon reader Replacement

I have been using PocketBook InkPad Color 3 for a couple of months. It's a great device because of the physical buttons, good screen, easy sideloading, and effortless KOReader installation. The integration with Calibre also works fine using Wi-Fi. I use mostly to read EPUB and FB2.
