Not a horrible build, but you overspent on the motherboard and on RAM that really isn’t great. The 9800X3D is overkill for 99% of users. Shifting that extra budget to the GPU would get you a 5080, which would make a bigger difference overall. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 78

Your prices are from 2025 or something, you can't find that denominated in USD, anywhere. Are you near a Microcenter, though? If not, here's a sample build that ballparks what you'd get nowadays. This can be tweaked to your preferences, and I would personally make different choices, but I tried to s

I have seen a lot of people, reviewers even, talk about GPU products in a way that I think is totally reasonable from a reviewers point of view, but not necessarily taking in the full picture when it comes to purchase decisions for new build consumers. This is as while accurate, and sensible for com

This build is a high end gaming beast and will do 4k native at high settings easily in AAA games, however if you want to save some money get the 9070 xt or 5070 ti instead as both are much cheaper than a 5080 and only around 15% maybe 20% slower. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen

At that price, I'd be building NEW, while also avoiding 13th/14th Gen Intel, below would be what I'd go for: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hVWdRV CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor ($469.00 @ B&H) Note: best pure gaming CPU on the market right now. CPU Cooler:

Here's your build. With RAM, storage, and GPU prices being through the roof, this is the best I can do. A 5080 can make sense if you want to do 4K gaming, or just want the best card of this generation that costs under $4000. It has a 15% uplift over 5070Ti and currently costs $1256.99. For 1440p, go
