I have ps4 platinum headset, pulse elite and some others, you can buy better ear covers (fabric) for cheap and they become instantly much more comfortable. But nothing compares to steelseries gamebuds, for me they sound much better than sony pulse and you can play for hours and not even notice them.

The only instance of a totally noise cancelling mic on a headset that works with PS5 - is the Pulse Elite - happy to be corrected, but as far as I know - some mics might be better at blocking outside sound, but to actively cancel it, you need the sony headphones.
