Another round of grigri vs neox.
I just did a little digging around and Petzl says it's safe to belay from the top with a Neox as with a Grigri. They just emphasize to keep a hand on the brake strand as always. First Belaying Device
Guide mode stuff with the Neox is terrible/unadvised. The spinning wheel is crap and goes to shit in sand. Kind of a shit device all around to be honest.
