Searching for my unicorn bag
Have you seen the Patagonia Black Hole 32L? It's got daisy chains you can mod a cord on. And it ticks the rest of your boxes. It's also very lightweight at under 800g. Worth a look.

Bag Finder Megathread - 27 October 2025
Seeking a pack for a 1-year Asia trip with a 16" MBP under the 7kg airline limit. Hey everyone, looking for some focused advice on a tricky setup. I've done my research but would appreciate the community's wisdom on the final decision. Use Case / Context: 1 year in Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam)

Packing List Review/Bag Recs
The Osprey Fairview is very popular for a reason. That’s the first bag I would suggest looking at. Going to REI and trying on different bags with weights in them will give you an idea of what will be most comfortable for you. The REI Trail 40 is another good option that is a bit cheaper. However, if

IMHO Bellroy would be a solid choice. Judging by the weight, you are looking at the 30L version, for which the stated dimensions are 500 × 360 × 120 mm. That computes to 21.6L, not 30L. BTW Bellroy are known for inaccurate dimensions / capacities. The 38L version (weight 1.0kg, only an addnl 50g) ha

I don't have any back issues (touch wood!) and I am not tall, but just thought that it might be useful to flag the Patagonia Black Hole Pack 32L as a possible successor for your MLC30. It's about the same capacity, light weight (760g), and retains a reasonable level of style, IMHO.

Versatility meets lightweight - My full hands-on review of the new Pakt Aero 35L
This is a great review! I'm considering a suitcase-style pack and this is now high on the list, I like the ripstop/yarn fabric design and that it stands on its own, among many other things. Wanted to note a few comparisons with the Patagonia Black Hole 32L (my current fave) which is lighter (0.8kg /

Rucksack Entscheidung
