I hope this would be true..

The cheap camera will be something useless that no one cares about. I have a theory that the more expensive camera could be the small modern MFT camera everyone wants. A few YouTubers I follow have been mysteriously pimping out MFT all of a sudden. Being given GH7 by Panasonic to “test” out of nowhe

Problems with the S1II

The AF part- 100% my experience (with s5ii at least, the s1ii should be only tad better). The “wide zone +tap to track which actually works and doesnt loose subject” mode on sony is ideal for run&gun/ events and panasonic just makes you concentrate on checking if the focus didnt drifted off instead

Do you think we will ever see a new Linux G with a sense?

I lost on Panasonic and M43 honestly, if they recycled rhe S5II body for the G9II they could have recycled the s9 body for a GX9II and release this year. The fact that they are copying GM1 colours and releasing them on S9 this year makes me think that they don't care anymore for small M43. Honestly

Lumix still an underdog?

Autofocus has improved considerably but Lumix is still behind major brands. The inability to set custom brackets is baffling, especially if you shoot real estate. In order to get +-3 stops you have to shoot 7 pictures which is extremely annoying. The TTL flash performance is slightly sluggish compar

Having Trouble Choosing Between the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8, Rokinon 35-150mm f/2-2.8, and the Lumix 70-200mm f/4

I had the S Pro 70-200mm f/4, at the time at Panasonic it was $999.00. I also used the mailing list coupon for extra 10% off $900.00 in the door, I hated returning it. with the S5iiX it was just too have for me.

Overthinking: G9ii vs S5ii vs GH7 traveling and indoor shooting at higher frame rates

The S5II kit 20-60 isn't the sharpest wide open. It also isn't the fastest. The difference in DOF between Full frame and MFT is 2 stops of aperture. A Panasonic 10-25 F1.7 would actually give you a shallower depth of field and more light than the 20-60. But that is a big expensive lens, and the GH7

Convince me not to buy the Lumix 35mm S Prime Lenses for the Lumix S5ii and S9

I feel like you can fix most optical flaws in post nowadays. And the 35mm samples I've seen are not optically better enough compared to the zoom to justify the purchase. The only real difference is going to be bookeh, by a very marginal amount. Why not leverage your s5ii's features and get yourself

Multiple Lumix Purchases from Official Panasonic Store (Germany) – Repeated QC Issues

My Lumix s5II screen was always a bit hanging downwards. Till someone ran over my tripod and the screen and mechanism needed to be repaired. The screen opening and closing feels more sturdy now. My shutter button needs a replace since I got the focus problem. Af doesn’t work 98% of the time anymore.

Convince me not to buy the Lumix 35mm S Prime Lenses for the Lumix S5ii and S9

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRHbJUD6/ Watch this to get convinced not to buy lumix s5ii and 18mm f1.8. The colors look so bad and don't get me started on the IQ of 18mm...just straight up blehh😂

Is it stupid to go back to MFT?

I bought an S5ii and two lenses (sigma 45 f2.8 and the Panasonic 16-35 s f4) I’m debating stranding them on mkb since none of the lenses really can deliver on the look I can get from the 10-25 f1.7 with a G9ii. Yes, I can shoot a higher iso, but when working professionally, that is never an issue si
