Finally the lens we’ve been waiting for! Any questions you have about it, fire them below…
Yeah of course! The SIGMA 45mm f2.8 is smaller but much heavier with it's metal build. It comes with an aperture ring (which is gorg) and a metal lens hood (super handy). The SIGMA 45 has very very noticeable focus breathing when shooting video. Not an issue for some people though I guess. I prefer

Should I switch from Sony to Lumix? As a wedding photographer
I went from an A7 III to S5 II (then S9) and I'd say the A7 III was more reliable autofocus wise. The S5 II is very reliable for people and eye tracking but it needs a lot more hand holding in low light. I think the swap to Lumix makes more sense if you were branching out more into video (for the IB

S9 Purchased
Got this in a few days ago after using an S5II for a year now. I got it to replace my B-cam, which is a S5. I've gotten addicted to using LUTs and the Lumix Lab app so the S5 wasn't quite cutting it in terms of ease of use as I had to use the old Sync app to bring stuff over and manually apply LUTs.

S5D or S9 for photography (landscape/nature/woodland) only(not interested in video).
I've never used the S5d, but my s9 autofocus is able to keep up with everything(within reason) I've asked of it. I wasn't the biggest fan of the 18-40 kit lens, so mine usually wears the sigma 45mm 2.8 or lumix 85mm 1.8. The lack of evf and headphone jack is a pain sometimes, but you can work around

Q: What’s the single best thing AND the single worst thing about the LUMIX S9? Let’s get a discussion going…
There are many different types of wedding photographers. Documentary photographers are very popular in the UK these days and are often very discreet and won't interfere with the day at all. I carry a Domke F5xb bag (tiny!) and two S5IIs with a 35 and 85 prime. I'd say 70-80% of shots are completely

I had to get this tiny camera - banana for scale
Let me clarify - modern small cameras. PDAF, tracking that works, etc. Right now Panasonic S9 is the only camera on the market that genuinely meets that description.

Moving from Fuji to Lumix (S5 vs S9) for toddler photos & vlogging?
S9 has vastly superior AF, it's more pocketable ad more geared toward vlogging than the original S5. If you don't plan on making 30+ minutes long 4k/60p clips (as it can overheat) it will be fine. The Lumix 20-60 or the 18-40 (a bit worse but more conpact) are nice to start and with real time LUTs I

Switch to Lumix S5ii or S9 before investing on sony lenses for ZVE1? travel video and photgraphy
I have the S9 and have had a couple S5iixs. I've also had a ZV-E1. Honestly, they're all fantastic, capable cameras. The Lumix cameras are more versatile and the S9 especially has a similar form factor appeal to the ZV-E1 with better photo options. Having said that, I think the ZV-E1 is an absolutel

Fujifilm X-E5 vs. Panasonic Lumix S9 for video
Had s9, have got e5 now. For video creation - lumix no doubt, not even close. Better autofocus, stabilisation, open gate, formats - all of it. I have e5 for photos which size, feel look, EVF i prefer over s9. But value wise - s9 being close to 50% cheaper - there is no debate its better value. When

SG-image 35mm f/2.2 and other ~35mm lenses
It's so hard as each has it's own character. The SG-image makes my Lumix S9 easier to carry and relatively sharp whereas the Meike 35mm lens has faster autofocus and more uniform in its edge to edge rendering. The TTArtisan 40mm has some vignetting around the edges and lends itself more to darker to
