Lens Help
Not sure if it's similar the Lumix 12-35 mm is so nice I got it twice lol. One for my gh5 and gh5s. Its a good all-in-one for most use cases and has built in stabilization that which paired with the gh5 ibis is a killer combo.

Need help! Gh5 vs gh5s lowlight
They’re pretty much the same camera aside from ibis and the dual native iso. I have the gh5s and pair it with the Lumix 24mm 1.7 at iso 800 for low light work and it handles it. These cameras are not low light monsters like other more modern models (looking into the g9ii or the gh7) and they’re not

S1ii EF adapter any examples?
Yeah I came from canon before the GH4 and have stayed with Lumix since the GH4 (GH5s and now S1ii). Always with adapted EF lenses! My experience with the S1ii has been great professionaly (video's for clients) aswell as personally (photo's). The new firmware that dropped recently improved the AF and

Just released my first standup special 'Marie' on YouTube
This was with two DSLRs: a Lumix GH5s on me (with Nikkor 28mm 2.8 AI-S MF lens) and a Lumix FZ300 on her (with the lens it has already). Smartphones are great for taking video in a pinch, but I wouldn't use them for shooting a special proper (unless that was part of the hook/conceit). For budget DSL

Do I need an S1H?
Whilst I appreciate the tongue in cheek tone of your post, please include all important context in the post title itself in future posts. Thank you! For example: Do I need an S1H for studio work with two GH5Ss? ... Anyway, I think two different systems (MFT, L-Mount) being a part of one ecosystem (L

Seeking GH5 upgrade ideas for low-light concert productions
GH5s. No stabe if that's important. The GH6 is a beast of a camera. The major thing people complain about is the autofocus not being PDAF. But, compared to the GH5... it's amazing. People love the colors. There's also a streaking issue that every video I've ever seen the people admit they don't see

What camera is your go-to as of recent
I’m a low budget filmmaker, made my first two shorts on the LUMIX GH5S, recently upgraded to the GH7 with the Leica 10-25 1.7, absolute sledgehammer of a combo that has mostly killed my GAS

Opinions on the LUMIX GH3?
LOVE it! Bought one back in 2013 and it started my love affair with LUMIX when the rest of the industry was going crazy for the 7D and T3i. I still have it, and it still works. I don’t use it professionally anymore due to the single card slot and mini-HDMI. I have the GH5 and GH5s and they are both

Wanting to buy my first camera for cinematography around 1.5k
Copy of resolve is a good point and a big saving if the op is gonna edit on resolve. If I had 2000 and needed to buy one camera and one lens, I'd probably look for used gh-series lumix camera (preferably gh5s, gh5m2 or gh6) and some fast zoom lens to have some versatility and to combat low light dis

Are Samyang Cine lenses really not good on Blackmagic cameras?
If you're happy with how they look right now on the gh5s, then they'll look exactly the same on the 4k. I'm pretty sure it's the same sensor. Have you tried braw? I love it, but it's not revolutionary over a 10-bit log, just a bit better, and very convenient in Resolve. I've also got some vintage Ru
