I found the Best One-Bag for me: Thule Aion Duffle 35L

Duffels are a problem for air travel carry on for a couple reasons. First of all many have the wrong dimensions with a square cross section and leaving one dimension too big and not fully utilizing the available space for the other. The Aion is a good example at 20.5 x 12.6 x 11.8 in. Compare to the

Daypack or Best way to have 2 bags?

I use an Osprey Daylite 20L (NOT the Daylite 26 + 6) as my day pack. When empty it just packs almost completely flat in my larger one bag. I put it in last on the top. I have even attached it on the outside using an S biner when pressed for internal space, holding it in place with the compression wi

FarPoint/FairView old vs. new side-by-side comparison

Just my thoughts: I had the Farpoint 40L and then changed to Osprey Unisex Sojourn Porter 46L. It's already a huge game changer to hide the Hip-Belt.. it has more advantages but fast YouTube search explains it better. If someone looks at the Farpoint/Fairview look at the Sojourn Porter.

Looking for the ultimate hybrid travel & work bag!

I think you want an Osprey Sojourn. I have the older version (Porter 30) and with the Sojourn they added a luggage strap. It reduces down to 25 liters for a Ryanair personal item or expands to 30 liters for an easyJet personal item. The comfort is unmatched for the other bags I have tried (top loade

New Globerider 35 vs ULA Dragonfly 30…quick decision

Packs are like shoes when it comes to fit. The idea that one pack is going to fit everyone is fantasy. Those bags with adjustable torso length or come in multiple sizes and gender specific harnesses are the thing. Strap spacing depends on neck size in general, trapezius, general body mass, etc, etc.

Do I Need the New 2026 Patagonia Refugio 30L?

I had a look at the old and the new side-by-side yesterday and prefer the old. The shop models were stuffed with pillows, so I got a decent sense of how they would look when filled, but of course not how they would carry with a proper full load. . The new version has the laptop section in the back w

Why does nobody here use Rolltops? Did I make a mistake buying the GOT BAG Rolltop Lite 2.0 as a Ryanair personal item?

I live out of a roll top bicycle pannier when I bike tour. I use it as my carryon and attach it to the bike once I get where I’m going. Getting things out of a roll top is a pain, and I only use it because it’s the most waterproof bag I can get and I get stuck riding in the rain fairly often. I basi

45L Suggestions?

My partner has carried the Osprey Sojourn Porter 46 on 7 long trips now (6-9 weeks) and loves it. The slightly rigid side panels make it easy to pack and the compression straps mean you can cinch it down really nicely if it's not full. It is lasting really well. The only slight downside is that if i

Advice on packing list + backpack recommendation for 6-week Europe trip (June/July)

I just got the Osprey Sojourn Porter I haven't used it yet, but I love it! It's technically carry-on compliant but you can really pack it full to be more than 46L if you end up getting souvenirs or something.

Help with bag for 6 weeks in Europe

Visit Paddy Pallin, Macpac and Kathmandu in Sydney near Town Hall station and ask for some advice. A bag around 40L in size will be plenty big enough. I am an elderly Australian woman who has to carry medication and mobility aids and I could travel indefinitely with my OspRey Sojourn Porter 46L bag.
