Multipitch climbing backpack
Yeah, I've started using a little packable backpack for that, but I don't think it would be much fun to use for the approach or a walk off. My usual crag pack is an Osprey Soelden 42. It claims you can use it with a harness and I can see that working for glacier travel but I think it would suck for

Daypack that doubles as carry on?
Carry on or personal item? Carry on replacement backpacks hover right around 40 L. The REI Trail 40 gets recommended fairly regularly here. I travel with my Osprey Soelden 42 sometimes but it's a bit weird as a day hiking pack.

Need a new hiking/mountaineering bag
