I've had the cobbler sew the loops on all my bags. I bought the webbing from Amazon and love the Dex hip belt from Black Ember. I'm short with 16.5" torso. The longer the bag the better it distributed the weight. Eagle Creek tour travel pack (older model) - it worked very well; Osprey 26+6 - good; O

As somebody that travelled regularly using a 35 litre bag, I think it having compression straps is pretty important. However, I also underpacked at the beginning of the trip and then would start to fill it up with souvenirs, so they were very nice to manage the contents throughout the trip. If you'r

I have a cabin zero bag and it’s so uncomfortable! I barely use it. I have an old version of the Eagle creek tour travel pack and it’s comfortable. I think it wastes too much padding for the laptop. I believe I modified the hip belt. it has load lifters to shift the load which I love. I have an old

Thanks so much for this. I'm really interested in this bag. I've been realizing that one of the things I appreciate about old reliable I've been using forever, and why I can't replace my Osprey Ozone 35, is that it doesn't look like a suitcase on my back. I can still get away with using it with only

I have the CPP2 and HAD the Ozone 18L version. Way more organization in the Aer, and way more comfortable. I hate to be one of those on here, but the Aer really is super versatile and can do a ton! It stands on its own, which the Osprey can't, and the front pockets to me, are a game changer on the A

I’ve added hip belts to 4 or 5 bags. I have a 16.5” torso - so on the shorter side. The more structure and longer the bag, the better the hip belt transfers the weight - but never as good as a bag designed with one properly. Even after saying that, I still use the hip belt - better than nothing. I b

Osprey Ozone comes in a 4 wheel variant, weighs about 5lbs. It’s a great bag for its purpose but its lightweightness definitely comes at a cost of durability. It’s definitely a carry on only bag.

Should be fine. For years, I used an Osprey Ozone 46 wheeled as my carry on and never had an issue. I now use a farpoint 40 and Nebula 32. I fly intl and main carriers, so i don’t know about smaller budget airlines.
