10/9/25 edit - I used this on our two week multi location trip and it worked very well! The clips to hold the 15l daypack on the front worked really well to balance the load on my shoulders and free up my hands to help family with their bags up and down stairs and on and off the train. My son got on

Only thing they have is cool colors. The fabric is really nice. Back panels are not ventilated so you will sweat a lot. Shoulder straps aren’t very good. They pack way too big for carry on unless you can figure out some kind of compression system. Straps aren’t fully stowable and there’s no adjustab

I have the Osprey stuff pack/ sack (I think that’s what it’s called). But recently purchased the Osprey Farpoint 55 which is a 40L main pack (with great design and fitment) with an additional 15L daypack which is amazing re fitment, adjustability, and design. It attaches to the rear of the main 40L

I agree with you. I tend to find the laptop space in larger bags more annoying than useful. I bought the Osprey Farpoint 55 over the 40 just to have the, in my opinion, better 40l bag. I don't think I have used the 15l day pack, but the increased price was worth it for the large pack without the "ex

Osprey Farpoint 55 is pretty close with a removable 15 liter day pack. Good adjustable torso length harness.

I have concluded that the Osprey Farpoint 55 is perfect for me. It is basically the Farpoint 40 with 15l day pack. I had the older model for 10 years which I used as a carry on, and got last year's model, which is a bit shorter and actually fits into a carry on sizer now. Looks like they revised the

Is the Cotopaxi Allpa 55 worth $60 more than the Farpoint 55? I've used Osprey's Farpoint 55L for many years. It meets all my needs. I'm going to give it to my young son, who's grown large enough to use a 'grownups' backpack. I'll probably buy a new Farpoint 55L for myself. Cotopaxi's Allpa 55, howe

I didn’t find the Allpa 35l comfortable at all either. Seriously worth trying the Osprey Farpoint/Fairview 40. So comfortable and a little bit adjustable. I’m 6ft. Male and found the highest adjustment on the Farpoint 55(same bag with less features on the main pack and attachable 15l) perfect for me

I’m currently travelling SEA with my osprey Fairview(woman’s design of the farpoint) 55 L! In my opinion it’s worth the hype it gets. I’ve managed to get it onto every plane as a carry on because it’s not totally stuffed and I’m able to tighten it to be super small every time. My boyfriend has the 4
