Osprey Daylite 26+6 Front Loops
Officially, they are part of Osprey's attachment system where you can attach other backpacks (like the Daylite or the Daylite Plus) using their buckles. I've done this on occasion and it works great, though the back does extend out a bit so you have to be careful in crowded places.

What should I get my dad for his birthday
backpack with a waist and chest strap is always nice, i have the osprey daylite plus and aer travel pack 4 that i alternate depending on how much stuffy I need to carry! it sits more snugly which allows you to move more freely and confidently and is just better for your back in general

đź‘€ The perfect theme park bag
It varies by ride. At Studios/Islands you can have a waist bag/fanny pack but not a larger bag on: Mummy, Gringotts, Men in Black, Forbidden Journey, Hagrid’s. With those, you’ll need to get your things into a locker before going into the queue. It honestly only takes 2 minutes on either end but the

Is Osprey still worth it for everyday travel backpacks?
I’ve had a Daylite Plus in my rotation for 3 years, and I it still looks almost new. I haven’t been gentle with it either. It’s been on hikes, to theme parks, and the usual day to day all equally well. Focusing on non-hiking / outdoor uses, my Osprey backpacks have been comfortable (I like the stern

Survival/Essential bag
I suggest browsing bags and making a list of features and details that are important to you. I am a bit of a bag and backpack nerd and have various shapes and sizes of bag/pack for various uses and conditions. Each one fulfills a very specific purpose. Can you recommend a 20L (ish) backpack that has mesh/ventilated straps and back panel that would be good for both travel as a personal item and light hiking? No strict price limit. Thanks!
Osprey Daylite Plus is a solid go to and great value. I use it constantly as an under seat bag and can do short hikes with ease. When you can get them on sale or previous season colors for ~25%+ off makes it an easy go to.

Hiking Pack Recs?
Yes if you simply need more room to breathe…return the 11 and look for a sale on the Osprey Talon 22 or the Osprey Daylite Plus (20L)…they’re an all-around daypack size that you won’t outgrow and allow you to comfortably carry all your essentials And the Salomon Trailblazer 20 is an excellent budget

Small backpack for travel
I use a Daylite Crossbody Pouch (not Osprey Daylite Sling, also doesn't seem as popular yet is perfect as I keep all my in zipper pouches (tech, contacts, medicines, IV supplies as I do daily infusions) as a purse. And can wear the Daylite Plus on top of it with no problem. I know it is a 20 L ratin

EDC laptop backpack under 14L?
I use the Osprey Daylite/Plus for this. Doesn't look as nice as the Aer but is a great all around daypack.

The Osprey Axis???
Looks like it's between the Proxima and Daylite Plus. My love of Osprey goes back 30 years. I love them and still have hiking backpacks from the 90s
