Fully-packed Review and Comparison: REI Ruckpack 30L vs Cor Surf Island Hopper 28L
I agree, the REI seems to have better straps and more comfort. That Osprey looks solid. Honestly, I was really considering the Osprey Daylite 26+6 too, but I'm really not a fan of Osprey bags' appearance haha, it turns me away completely

Carry on bag for Ryanair
Cabin Zero 28L classic does that job exactly. Lifetime warranty. Fewer frills than the Osprey 26+6. More substantial materials, nice side compression straps, opens nice and wide and no side ways opening (which can get annoying).

Aer Travel Pack 3 (X-Pac) – 3+ years later, still my do-everything bag
I have not actually. I'm on another trip for 2 months with my Osprey 26+6 and it's working out ok. But, when I get home I think I will do some mods on the TP3 as I really like the overall feel when doing multiple mile days with it as the Osprey isn't the most comfortable.

Osprey 26+6 backpack - zipper quality
I'm here because of a zipper issue on my brand new Osprey Daylite 26+6. I had bought one 26+6 and had it packed for a trip that later got cancelled. I later gave it to a visiting guest since I wasn't going to need it anytime soon. I decided to order another one to replace it anyway, and it's been ha

Bag Finder Megathread - 05 January 2026
My wife has been bugging me to buy a decent, 'adult' backpack for our travels, rather than use my current one which she says looks like something I'd take to school. She suggested checking Samsonite as she likes their luggage. The bag would not be for prlonged wearing, basically carrying through air

Is the Porter 46/ not actually 46l or is this an illusion?
I don't have that bag but I found Osprey to over estimate the capacity of their bags. The Farpoint 40, for example, holds less than my CTB35. My SMD ADC+ (45L) definitely feels like 45L, maybe 43L, and holds about 30-40% more than the Farpoint 40 easily. I would definitely estimate the Farpoint 40 i

Simple Bag Finder Request. I'm looking for an expandable backpack similar to the Osprey 26+6 but a little more robust. What I mean by that is that it's more comfortable with better shoulder straps and padding. One of the specific requirements is that it expands the main compartment. I saw that there

If you rock a backpack, much does it usually weigh?
We tried the Osprey 26+6 in store too and I did not like it at all. The sojourn is a totally different pack in my opinion.

Student/Business Travel I'm really deciding between the Osprey 26+6 and Decathlon Quechua NH500 23L Clamshell. For context, I'm going to law school, and I'm thinking about a bag to get for quick weekend and business trips for the next couple years. I don't need it to last forever, which is why I'm n

Best 35L backpack?
Tortuga Expandable or Osprey Daylite 26+6 for half the price and weight but it’s also half as good looking and the material is half as thick.
