Osprey 26+6 Personal Sizer Pics
A big factor for the tight squeeze with Air Canada is because all Canadian airlines (Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, and Flair) generally only allow 6 inches of depth for personal item, compared to the 8-9 inches allowed by US airlines. It's a massive difference. A fully packed (unexpanded) Osprey 26+6

Hot take: I did not like Daylite 26+6
I love the layout of my older version of the Osprey Daylite 26+6L. However, I find it so uncomfortable to carry because of the straps and not having a waist strap, which I find helpful for carrying 30L+. For me, it’s definitely one of those bags I use just for travel days, but not as an EDC during t

Searching for unicorn one bag- advice???
I went through this 2 years ago. You need to measure your torso length to find the backpack that will not strain your back. Google "how to measure your torso length for a backpack" and it'll give you directions. As a petite person, what worked for me was the Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC 30L and the

Deciding on new onebag
The only way that the osprey is comfortable to take on a 10 mile walk would be if you modded it to take a hip belt. I love it for urban stuff and it fits in almost every sizer as a personal item but it’s not designed for walking. Im eu based so havent got direct experience with ULA stuff but that lo

Test Pack for Weekend Trip in Osprey 26 + 6 Daylite
I found the 26+6 super uncomfortable but enough people here like it that I suppose I'm an outlier. FWIW, my hiking pack is an Osprey Talon 22 and my carryon pack is a Fairview 40 (both of which are fine). YMMV

Hot take: I did not like Daylite 26+6
As a petite with narrow shoulders. I have had trouble finding a backpack that I could hold 3-5 days worth of clothes in comfortably. & I've tried the Osprey 26 +6, the Osprey Fairview 40, the Tom Bihn Synik 30, & the foldie backpack. The one that worked? the Nomad Lane Bento Bag Backpack I just got.

26+6 but with better load carrying?
I feel like “the load capacity relative to size of an Osprey 26+6” and “comfortable load carrying for long walking distances” is one of those unicorn combinations I keep seeing people ask for on here but that unfortunately seems somewhat mutually exclusive. I would love to be proven wrong though, an

[Review] Patagonia Refugio 30L 2025 vs 2026 comparison (initial impressions)
Wow, the old version is my main and favorite travel bag, and this new version changes everything I love about it. I love having the big empty sack for a bag that I can place my own preferred cubes and bags into. I hate laptop pockets because I never use it so I love the removable one here. I also fi

Osprey daylite 26+6+1 mod
Yeah, I don't want to knock the Osprey Daylite 26+6. It's my current onebag. But it's claimed 6" (16cm) depth is more like 7.5" (19cm) when packed. To keep it at 7", I need to pack without using compression cubes.

Another Osprey 26+6 post
I recently bought the Osprey (edit: the Daylite, not the Transporter) 26+6 and Tomtoc T66 Liteway (28L) to compare as personal item bags. The Osprey is the only one I brought on trips — first a family car trip, then on a flight for a work trip.On the family trip I had no complaints. But on the work
