Backpacks with back air gap?

I can suggest the, Osprey Stratos 24 or 34 L, Deuter futura 25 or 32 L. I like the adjustability of the Osprey packs more then the non adjustable frames of the Deuter packs. But it makes them a bit more bulky. For backpacking I really love my Osprey atmos ag 65. While heavier then the exos models it

New backpacker (after 23 years) stuck: Atmos AG 65 vs. Kakwa 55?

Wait I am uniquely qualified as I own both of these exact packs and they are both amazing. I started backpacking with the Osprey and I continue to use it for Grand Canyon backpacking because of the durability, breathability and water weight I have to carry. I don’t go as many days in the canyon so t

New Yeti Hiking Backpack!

Wow so it comes in at .2 lbs lighter than the Osprey Atmos AG 65 (L/XL) - the pack I use and a pretty common one. The Osprey has 8l higher capacity, but that’s a lot closer in weight than I was expecting.

What’s the best travel backpack you’ve actually used and loved?

I use the Osprey Atmos AG 50 and I love it, super comfy, makes heavy loads not feel as heavy, loads of features like water bladder compartment, 2 side bottle holder that are accessible from the side and top, ice pick and pole attachments, stuff it pocket, 2 hip belt pockets and so much more. The bag

Yeah, out of all the packs I tried with 30 lbs, the Osprey Atmos ag “felt” the lightest. I think part of it was how well it transferred weight to my hips.

Hiking backpack suggestions

What about the whippa colo or the whippa overland made in Katoomba There’s also the wallaroo from neve gear I’m in the market for gear and though not a beginner hiker but starting to build up some gear for overnighters I’m struggling to find the right pack between the above mentioned ultralight pack

New backpacker (after 23 years) stuck: Atmos AG 65 vs. Kakwa 55?

I use an Osprey Atmos AG LT 65 without the brain because I run hot and like having the ventilation. It has the same trampoline back as the full weight AG but with less pockets and fewer adjustment options that aren't necessary for me. It weighs 3.5 lbs or so without the brain, right in between the t

Back Sweat

Thank you for this! I started too with the Osprey Atmos AG 65 and love that pack but it is a little too heavy for my liking even though it was my most comfortable pack. I actually just did a test with the Zpacks Arc Haul 40L and their trampoline back didn't really support me that well as my back was

Tent recommendations

Use what works, Osprey. The Exos 58 is absolutely what I'd use if I went again. I used the Atmos AG 65 which was a wonderful pack, but it is on the heavy side. When I got done, I sent it to Osprey and got a brand new one for free, which was great because it was very much at the end of its life after
