How is prusa still in business?

Not really I have a Bambu A1, Kingroon KPL1 and a prusa Mini+ and they are all awesome. The prusa is overpriced as heck but it's a perfect little machine for me to learn, I wouldnt have been able to troubleshoot half the things on my Bambu without starting with that Mini. Although it's the same with

How is prusa still in business?

Yeah and I bought that Prusa Mini+ back in 2022 I believe so it was the top dog of beginner printer, good support and performance for the price. I don't know why there is this weird rivalry between Bambu and Prusa fans.

Im looking for a second smaller printer

I bought a used Prusa Mini+ and rebuilt it to like new. That thing is unbeatable. It prints all normal stuff and I've printed TPU and ABS. I do have a Delack enclosure with lights and filters on it. Total investment around $400. .

Would a Prusa Mini+ be good as a mostly plug-n-play printer?

No, it requires manual Z offset. You want any Prusa with “Nextruder” which is basically every printer but the Mini. It’s also way too high a price for an older printer. That said, it is still a great printer.

Everyone is bragging about their new CoreOne. Meanwhile, my old lady:

Prusa Mini would cover the use case of so many people. Most people dont need to print ASA or Nylon etc. Just regular ol' PLA and PETG

A second hand Prusa Mini or Mini+ is what you need.

Printer Recommendation Beginner

Prusa Mini+ It's very simple, very easy to repair, and prusa is the apple of 3D printers, except Prusa stayed open source and has a great sense of humor and phenomenal community culture. Bambu is pushed on Reddit a lot. I've worked with 3D printers for almost 20 years now since the first Makerbot ki

Ender x Prusa

I’m extremely interested in this! I have a bunch of old Enders lying about asking for projects to be built out of them and I love my Prusa Mini. Are you going to power it with a Prusa board or Ender?

I'm now part of the club! My first Bambu Lab printer.

I had a double hand me down Prusa Mini+, it was fun to start with it but I wanted something more.
