What do you guys think about trying to print one of these with filament
I printed most of one on a Prusa Mini, then did all of the guns and whatnot with resin. I never got around to painting it, but I think it turned out fine: That was back in 2020. With a modern printer you should have even better results.

Prusa MINI+: different dimensional accuracy based on print bed location
This is caused by the age old problem of Bowden systems similar to the Mini. The heavily constrained filament path causes uneven extrusion dependant on the position. So on one side where the buckled PTFE tube causes the filament to be pulled out of the hotend you'll get underextrusion and on the oth

How is prusa still in business?
Not really I have a Bambu A1, Kingroon KPL1 and a prusa Mini+ and they are all awesome. The prusa is overpriced as heck but it's a perfect little machine for me to learn, I wouldnt have been able to troubleshoot half the things on my Bambu without starting with that Mini. Although it's the same with

The Prusa Initiation Checklist - as observed in the wild
I print paht-cf, pa cf and gf, pc, pccf and all sort of “engineering filaments” on a prusa mini with the enclosure (not heated, just the official one). This guy nags about the electronics rated max 85C, it’s pure nonsense counting that you can print PEEK with a chamber heated at 80C and you won’t pr

How is prusa still in business?
Yeah and I bought that Prusa Mini+ back in 2022 I believe so it was the top dog of beginner printer, good support and performance for the price. I don't know why there is this weird rivalry between Bambu and Prusa fans.

Will there ever be a new Prusa Mini?
I know it hurts to say this but if you want a machine that's a Prusa Mini size right now... it's an A1 Mini from Bambu. Prusa is just never going to be able to compete in that market again when Bambu can sell that machine for $200. MK4S is sub-$700 now (in the USA as well). That's the machine to get

This is my Prusa Mini Exo Frame, helps with stability and does not need any teardown to install.

Will there ever be a new Prusa Mini?
Maybe. But even if, I don't think prusa will ever reach a price that would be 'casual gift for a slightly interested child' territory. Even if there is a new mini. It would cost way more than the A1 mini. Like, the A1 mini is currently under 200 bucks on sale. I just don't think prusa, with higher m

Im looking for a second smaller printer
I bought a used Prusa Mini+ and rebuilt it to like new. That thing is unbeatable. It prints all normal stuff and I've printed TPU and ABS. I do have a Delack enclosure with lights and filters on it. Total investment around $400. .
