Prusa MINI+: different dimensional accuracy based on print bed location
This is caused by the age old problem of Bowden systems similar to the Mini. The heavily constrained filament path causes uneven extrusion dependant on the position. So on one side where the buckled PTFE tube causes the filament to be pulled out of the hotend you'll get underextrusion and on the oth

Will there ever be a new Prusa Mini?
I know it hurts to say this but if you want a machine that's a Prusa Mini size right now... it's an A1 Mini from Bambu. Prusa is just never going to be able to compete in that market again when Bambu can sell that machine for $200. MK4S is sub-$700 now (in the USA as well). That's the machine to get

Will there ever be a new Prusa Mini?
Maybe. But even if, I don't think prusa will ever reach a price that would be 'casual gift for a slightly interested child' territory. Even if there is a new mini. It would cost way more than the A1 mini. Like, the A1 mini is currently under 200 bucks on sale. I just don't think prusa, with higher m

Will there ever be a new Prusa Mini?
At the very least, it is getting firmware updates, but they haven't made a statement on improving it or putting it on EOL. The state of affairs for the Mini really is bad, unfortunately when the competition runs circles around it. Maybe your best bet is finding a used Prusa considering the release o

How is prusa still in business?
The prusa mini is almost 6 years old ( that is barely a year younger than the original ender 3 ), thats fine for a printer you want to tinker with but it should have a corresponding price tag.

Yep! There's prusa mini+ which is very similar to a1 mini. It's more expensive though, prusa generally is pricier because they manufacture in Czech Republic with better wages.

Unofficial Prusa Mini mk2
It's such a Shame Prusa basically abandoned the mini, I'm looking for a small printer to fit inside a wardrobe but it really doesn't make sense against an A1 mini in 2025...

Is the price of the 8 head indx kit meant to cost as much as a whole new core one base kit?
I wouldn’t say that I’m not their target audience. I have owned multiple MK3’s, Prusa Minis, MK4’s and have rebuilt countless Prusa machines. In fact I currently have a core one + (upgraded from a MK4 kit that I built myself) and I am definitely interested in INDX but that price is just too high tbh

The real value of 3d printers
What quality does Prusa actually offer? When I look at the Prusa Mini, I see what looks like a kid’s toy with an outdated display and visible cables… all for €500 unassembled, without shipping. What kind of support would I even need for it?“Ohh hello Prusa, my filament got stuck, can you help me?”Oh

Im looking for a second smaller printer
The a1 mini is killer in the size format. But you said not bambu. You could go with a voron v0, but over budget. The prusa mini is way too expensive, and pretty obsolecent. I would say maybe the Sovol zero?
