PSA Warning if you are thinking of wrapping your printer -

It is a hard habit to break for people who have been 3d printing at home since the MakerBot CNC. All of a sudden I have a printer with all the features I need in an X1C. Sure, I printed a solution for the poop chute and to hold the AMS up so I can move the glass panel. And, I replaced the hotend wit

Everyone is bragging about their new CoreOne. Meanwhile, my old lady:

i still love my prusa mini. it’s a fast little fella. no long calibration, quick bed leveling, simply fast and reliable. love it.

I can’t wait for the day for this to say “Genuine BambuLab filament required to print”

Personally I bought a P1s because it was the cheapest and best printer I could see after my Prusa mini started to show it's age. You don't see many builders giveing such personality to their hammers, it's a tool.

Prusa Quality Issues?

Do you want help fixing your printers or do you want to debate about Prusa's quality? Pick. I run a Prusa Mini+, a MK3S, and a MK4S. The 4S is unkillable. The 3S before it mostly as well. The Mini exists to print small jobs and replacement parts for the other two.

Would a Prusa Mini+ be good as a mostly plug-n-play printer?

No, it requires manual Z offset. You want any Prusa with “Nextruder” which is basically every printer but the Mini. It’s also way too high a price for an older printer. That said, it is still a great printer.

CORE One Mini - Plexiglass, Polycarbonate and Paint

OP is converting Prusa Mini+ (old but still reliable bedslinger) into a mini version of Core One. Why? Because why not ;)? Edit - I stand corrected, see u/suit1337's response.

Show us your mods! We want to put YOU on stage at SMRRF!

The Prusa Mini+ was my first printer and it has worked reliably for five years now, so much so that I had to get another one. However I've had issues pushing it to speeds of the input slicer presets. In my opinion there's many great things about these printers and it deserves to live on, so I want t

Im looking for a second smaller printer

Prusa mini is such a fun machine to modify. I've also got a mini that has been my Frankenstein, and it's such a reliable machine now.

Printer Recommendation Beginner

Prusa Mini+ It's very simple, very easy to repair, and prusa is the apple of 3D printers, except Prusa stayed open source and has a great sense of humor and phenomenal community culture. Bambu is pushed on Reddit a lot. I've worked with 3D printers for almost 20 years now since the first Makerbot ki
