What do you guys think about trying to print one of these with filament

I printed most of one on a Prusa Mini, then did all of the guns and whatnot with resin. I never got around to painting it, but I think it turned out fine: That was back in 2020. With a modern printer you should have even better results.

The Prusa Mini+ was my first printer and it has worked reliably for five years now, so much so that I had to get another one. However I've had issues pushing it to speeds of the input slicer presets. In my opinion there's many great things about these printers and it deserves to live on, so I want t

Printer Recommendation Beginner

Prusa Mini+ It's very simple, very easy to repair, and prusa is the apple of 3D printers, except Prusa stayed open source and has a great sense of humor and phenomenal community culture. Bambu is pushed on Reddit a lot. I've worked with 3D printers for almost 20 years now since the first Makerbot ki

Reversed Timeline & Appreciation | Core One -> MK3S/+

My first printer was a Prusa Mini+, and a Bambu Lab P1S as second. Now I have a MK4S aswell. If I print something in PLA/PETG, I always send it to my prusas first. Small models are done before the P1S is done shaking my house and blasting whatever dust might be in the room. The Bambu Handyapp is gre

Which printer should I buy as my first one?

I would get a Prusa Kit then.. Prusa's are 95% capable of a Bambu imo. Bambu's might have a slight edge in speed and some features. But nothing compares to a Prusa kit experience. Hell i bought a Prusa Mini some years back, not because i needed an extra printer along my MK4, but because i wanted to

I love printing PETG again, but ... bad looking walls on one side of the print

This is a problem that is specifically exacerbated with Diamondback nozzles, and it gets much worse with larger nozzle diameters. I have had this issue with Diamondback nozzles on a Prusa XL and Prusa Mini. I have achieved acceptable results with 0.4mm and 0.6mm Diamondback nozzles. but had to retur

Which printer should I buy as my first one?

I was in the same situation as you few years ago, and I prepared a small checklist do you want the 3D printer as a low maintenance tool or want to play upgrading fixing it all the time ? (I wanted a tool that does not get wrong easily) what is the volume you want to print. (For me 18x18x18 was enoug

Which 3D printer should I get for my little brother? Huge community + lots of YouTube tutorials preferred!

Consider a Prusa Mini. Prusa printers are great. They're open source, and from what I know they have an active community. The only downside is they have a pretty small build plate (180x180). If money really isn't an option, the Prusa Core One has fully automatic bed leveling for that flawless first

Question: Is the Core One+ L worth the extra $1000 over the Core One+ ?

Exactly same reason why I was exit of BBL products and switched over. However I did some kind of a smart move, instead to sell my BBLs X1C with multiple AMS, I offered on 2nd hand platform opportunity for exchange against Prusa C1 or other Prusa printers. Ended up in getting C1, 2xMini+, MK3.5, MK4S
