Prusa MINI+: different dimensional accuracy based on print bed location

This is caused by the age old problem of Bowden systems similar to the Mini. The heavily constrained filament path causes uneven extrusion dependant on the position. So on one side where the buckled PTFE tube causes the filament to be pulled out of the hotend you'll get underextrusion and on the oth

Persistent stringing on ALL 4 Prusa Minis — same filament prints clean on Bambu A1 Mini

Given it's all 4 printers identically and the Bambu prints clean with the same filament, this is almost certainly a Prusa Mini+ specific hardware characteristic rather than a settings issue. The Y-axis being worse and the temperature sensitivity suggests the PTFE tube to nozzle junction.....even a 0

Prusament is so good!

So since everybody is praising Prusament here, maybe you can help me here. Printing for quite some time now. Using eSun or Sunlu and even other cheap filaments in the past few years since 2018. Never had any Problems with it ob my Printers. All well tuned and running great with all other Filaments.

Give up?

It was a cool idea and implemented well, but I could never get it working properly on my Prusa Mini. Just too much weight on the moving print head without support and the filament path would bind up and never feed/retract. I have thoughts about putting it on one of my delta printers with a suspensio

Is this normal print quality for the Bambu P1S? Replacement machine produced the same results.

well yes and no, because these uneven zigzaglines are not normal even with fdm🤔 reminds me of a partially underextrusion.. did you make a cold pull once? just check it and the flow I checked my grey prints with macro picture, none of my prints from bambu p1s looks like yours, but i got the same bad

Why does it keep doing this

Both my prusa mini and ender 3 do not function if the temp is under 10°C. You can jump start it by blowing hot air with hair dryer. The bed and nozzle temp has to be 10°C before starting print. Afterwards it works fine by keeping temps up by itself after it starts preheating.

Would a Prusa Mini+ be good as a mostly plug-n-play printer?

It is horrible. I also have one. Edit: as I'm getting down voted by the fanbois here: Just some of the problems I have had with the Prusa Mini: . OEM single drive extruder is famous for starts clicking, wears out, is horrible (bondtech or triangle labs knockoff dual drive extruder helps). . OEM hote

OEM ingle drove extruder is famous for starts clicking, wears out, is horrible (bondtech or triangle labs knockoff dual drive extruder helps). . OEM hotend is famous for heat creep which causes all kinds of issues. . Remote ext

CORE One L Price increase from April 7th

The funny thing is that these printers are not usable for farms and high volume business use... You have to turn off and on the printer after few prints or it will go crazy, re-calibrate z-axis and open and clean extruder... My Prusa Mini is 10x more reliable than Core ONE + and Core ONE L :D
