Prusa MINI+: different dimensional accuracy based on print bed location
This is caused by the age old problem of Bowden systems similar to the Mini. The heavily constrained filament path causes uneven extrusion dependant on the position. So on one side where the buckled PTFE tube causes the filament to be pulled out of the hotend you'll get underextrusion and on the oth

The real value of 3d printers
What quality does Prusa actually offer? When I look at the Prusa Mini, I see what looks like a kid’s toy with an outdated display and visible cables… all for €500 unassembled, without shipping. What kind of support would I even need for it?“Ohh hello Prusa, my filament got stuck, can you help me?”Oh

Multimaterial MMU10 for PRUSA MINI+ Bear?
The mini has no designated place to plug in the MMU cables. It does have an expansion port but no one has been able to make it work with the MMU, so that might not even be the best place to look. Klipper has alternative MMU type units, but the "magic" of being a Prusa mini will sort of be lost if yo

Persistent stringing on ALL 4 Prusa Minis — same filament prints clean on Bambu A1 Mini
Given it's all 4 printers identically and the Bambu prints clean with the same filament, this is almost certainly a Prusa Mini+ specific hardware characteristic rather than a settings issue. The Y-axis being worse and the temperature sensitivity suggests the PTFE tube to nozzle junction.....even a 0

Would a V0 be good for me to bring in my class when I need it?
Safe here from the Positron Team, lots of folks have made some great suggestions. I'd like to provide some context both as a member of the positron team and as the lead developer of the Prusawire. While i do like designing the Prusawire, I don't think this is the ideal printer for your class. as it

2nd hand prusa mini woooble
I mean I am a simple user and happy with their solution and if indeed they are doing anything shady then F them for that but again if Prusa would mae a printer as good as that A1 Mini I would say the same unfortunately Prusa is still gliding on the wings of "I am here for you bro and we cool and fri

Give up?
It was a cool idea and implemented well, but I could never get it working properly on my Prusa Mini. Just too much weight on the moving print head without support and the filament path would bind up and never feed/retract. I have thoughts about putting it on one of my delta printers with a suspensio

Would a Prusa Mini+ be good as a mostly plug-n-play printer?
I've owned my Prusa Mini for five years, and I've done plenty of upgrades over that time: Revo hotend system with high flow nozzles, Bondtech Extruder, official Prusa enclosure, Nevermore Mini filtration, SuperPINDA (bought but not yet installed). I finished building my Core One yesterday and the di

Help Needed on Original Mini+
Thanks. I squared the Z tower, and still had print destroying uneven z-offset across the bed left to right that had developed out of nowhere. Turns out the two unsupported cantilever rods holding up the X axis had developed a twist. So as the print head progressed across the bed, the twist increased

What a little monster this is!
Maybe reconsider hanging the spool and the handle off the side of the Z axis. The z axis / z motor / X axis / X motor / X rail / hotend / extruder / extruder motor are all hanging of one thin strip of metal and only directly secured to the Y frame with one direct screw. (I have a better image of th
