Honest question: Who is the Prusa Core One L actually for in 2025/2026?

I want to touch one point about tuning. With Prusa, you don’t need to tune each machine individually - tuning is done in the slicer for specific filaments and it applies it to ALL Prusa printers. Prusa printers will give you the same print everytime, that’s why they’re best for farms. In my experien

Prusa vs Bambu feels less like “better vs worse” and more like different priorities

Hi, so although Josef signs my paychecks, I did purchase a Bambu A1, and X1C before I replaced them with Prusa, and then subsequently applied to work for big orange a little over a year later. My biggest problem with the Bambu system, is that the right way to use a Bambu is the way that Bambu decide

Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?

This is a Prusa group so you are likely to get some biased responses. For what it's worth, I choose to go Prusa over Bambu because I like how Prusa has remained open source. Bambu has recently made moves to close in their ecosystem which was a concerning direction. One of my first 3D printers was ve

Is Prusa trying to clear stock? New model coming soon?

I highly doubt that they are trying to clear stock. The Core One has been barely released (for Prusa time, not chinese printer time that push 10 iterations in one year) and a Core One S upgrade will likely still take some time. The INDX version will likely be sold beside the normal Core One. Many pe

Trying to choose between Prusa and Bambulab - what am I missing?

I just bought a core one kit, and having run it for a week now including dealing with problems. I’d say that this feels like owning a very real tool. You can modify it to suit your needs, upgrade it, etc. you don’t need to source all parts and such from Prusa either. Sounds like the Bambu is more li

CORE One + Hatch

It’s always great to see a new Core One mod pop up! It always makes me happy I chose Prusa over any other printer brand. Very cool idea, thank you for sharing!

My MK4's are so much quieter and reliable than my Core ONE, where did I go wrong?

All I can tell you, is that does not sound anything like my Core One. There has to be something going on here! Maybe contact Prusa support?

CORE One L - platform or one-off?

Prusa has said the CORE One will get upgrades, and it’s already got the + upgrade and INDX to prove it. You already noted the L is getting INDX too. And Prusa have said the CORE One / L platforms are build with many of the same components and mechanics so they can share the same / similar upgrades.
